It sucks since Verizon took over, I'm pissed that they took over shortly after I got this phone. They raised the price of monthly service when they took over, service declined drastically and it's not reliable. And to make matters worse when you add a plan it starts that day, no more putting a card into your reserve, so you are going to lose days of service you paid for, they should be sued. This can't be legal. If I hadn't just got this phone I'd go back to Straight Talk. I bought my daughter the same phone under straight talk for Christmas. Total by Verizon is a joke. I wish I could switch my phone to Straight Talk.

I've had Total Wireless for a couple of years. Good plan, inexpensive, and met my needs (<2Gb/mo). However, when I went to cancel, there was no way to do it without talking to an agent. I signed up online, I should be able to cancel online.

As I'm frustrated I am looking at the reviews , the same thing is happening to me , day 4 still no service, I get told something different everytime, but they were able to take my money fast , what a joke , I tried to return the phone but where I got it said no . I asked totalbyverizon for a refund of the service I have paid for , they said no, at this point I might just eat my loss and be done with Verizon all together , I have never had a problem with them until now . I use the regular prepaid Verizon but I think they just lost me all together. I'm I'm the middle of important things that I can't be missing calls of this importance. Lesson learned

I lost 5 days of service because Total by Verizon automated system didn't allow me to add my service plan to reserve. This never happened when I was with Total Wireless, but now that it's Total by verizon it did. If something screwed up on the Total Wireless side they'd make it right and give me back my service days. Customer service with Total by Verizon refused to do anything, going as far as claiming it was my fault for using their automated system Class action lawsuit should be filed count me in, if they won't give me back $5 of service time, maybe they should be made to pay that times a half a million customers. Straight talk was sued and lost, maybe it's time for VERIZON to lose!

Dont EVER buy a phone from this sham of a company and especially dont use smartpay thru them...The worst customer service I have ever experienced...I ordered a phone thru total paid for via smartpay monthly payments...total lost the phone...that took a month to straighten out Even though I cancelled the order..smartpay is STILL charging me for a phone I never received...2 months later ,at least 20 phone calls and much frustration, I realize I'm going to have to get a lawyer involved. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES

Prices went up A LOT. tried to add our 2 line $85 card. It's so screwed up they can't fix it

NO STAR!! Just know the 1 star is because there is no option for no star. IT HAS STILL BEEN LESS THAN 30 DAYS SINCE MY PURCHASE AND I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES. It took several hours of being on the phone just to be disconnected and have to start the entire process and there is no reason to give these people a call back number because they will only allow the phone to ring half a second so that you cannot answer. In my 40 years of life this is the worst experience I have had regarding anything. My device has been returned and received but I have yet to receive my refund. I have been waiting all day to receive a phone call from the refund department. I have contacted everyone possible regarding this company service including the BBB and the CEO of Verizon and I still going through pure hell. I never take the time to review products and service but I felt that others need the warning. I will be looking at reviews from this point forward. PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS COMPANY AND IF YOU DO YOU ARE GARENTEED TO HAVE PROBLEMS.

Absolute scam artists. I've been trying to transfer my phone number over to a new service for the last few days and they've been doing everything in their power to delay the process.
