We're so sorry should be the new motto!!!
This applies to the company as a whole more than its website. TMobile is one of the most Bi-Polar companies that I have ever dealt with...some agents are great, most are horrible with no middle ground in sight. I set up my service (or so i thought) as a tmobile one account (with all taxes and fees included in the price for a flat rate) and I got signed up for a different plan entirely. I called and spoke to a manager at t-mobile customer support that understood and she gave me a bill credit that was guaranteed for the life of my service (or at least that's what i was told)...and this is where the problem began It is two years later, I still get the credit every month, but this is only after I spend an average of 3 hours per month on the phone, explaining why I get the credit, agents telling me they see so history of a credit, the credit is expired, they can't see the original call and so on...they also have a habit of hanging up on people or cold transferring customers back into the general call queue when they are supposed to be transferring you to a supervisor. When you actually do speak to the designated supervisor you were trying to reach and complain about the other reps who hung up or lied, the managers at T-mobile show little interest in gathering facts or rep ID's to coach the agents with poor customer service skills. ...all you get is a emotionless 'sorry about that' Luckily I keep notes with names, rep ID's and dates for important calls otherwise they would have screwed me out of my discount and they have tried many times... Weirdly they said they would go back and listen to the original call where I was promised the credit and call me back, so they could get the credit to apply automatically...but that never happened...then after the first year (after I inquired) they said the call was too old to listen to. ...so now I am CURRENTLY stuck in purgatory (as of may 2020) having to call and spend a few hours every month for a $35 bill credit.
