Do not be misled by quick ship cabinets. They say 3-7 business days, but after you place your order and pay, they do not allocate the items in your warehouse to your order. Instead, they wait a few days and then tell you half of your order is out of stock. But by that point, it is too late to start from scratch with another seller. It is an absolute bait and switch.

I worked with Kci Hill, and she has the patience of Job. It took me a while to grasp the process, but once she gently educated me, it went smoothly. I used the Free Design Service, and it took me the three variations to get the final design. Kci worked with me closely throughout the design phase and then waked me through the purchase process. The economics of purchasing through RTA are not straightforward. They have lots of sales but the designing process is so slow that by the time you've got everything pinned down the price changes and you're back to square one. Listing cabinet lines by special items they do or don't contain, such as double oven cabinets, would make choosing more straightforward. The samples are helpful, and the cabinets I thought I liked -I didn't in real time. Hoping for the best, and am excited about the color I chose but when you shop on line you don't get to assess the quality in person.

Likes: RTA Store provides a free designer to work with you. Wide selection. Free shipping after spending a couple grand. Good sales -- if you can catch them. Dislikes: The designers take so long to get back to you that the sale price comes and goes in the meantime. The designer we worked with was not clear enough in her emails. Her language was confusing. Her explanations were not organized enough. Communication is key. Because her communication skills were so poor, we had to go back-and-forth a lot, and so the sale window came and went. They don't allow you to Zoom with the designer. That seems counterintuitive in 2025 when there is AI and so many other platforms/apps that are available allowing customers to view designs, live, with designers. The product pages for the cabinetry accessories don't say which types of RTA cabinets they are compatible with. As a result, we chose things for our cabinetry design that weren't compatible with our cabinetry selection. But the designer took over a week to figure that out. That makes no sense. She should have been able to easily and quickly enter that SKU into a search tool that would given her a list of all cabinetry that that particular accessory was compatible with. Heck, with AI these days, she should have been able to quickly query whether that part was compatible with (would fit inside) the cabinet that we already had selected with the designer. Files shared with customers should have titles that reflect exactly what they are and exactly when they were created. (The designers change a lot. It gets confusing.)

We have been very satisfied with the RTA store. My husband builds houses and we have used the RTA store 3 times so far and have been impressed with their customer service and the cabinets. They have a great variety of finishes and the prices seem good.

Dareli helped us design our beautiful new kitchen! She was great and very helpful in narrowing down our cabinet choices. Delivery was okay. It is sort of stressful with lots of rules and the numbers on the boxes don’t match the numbers on the receipt/BOL but we figured it out. A couple of items were damaged in shipping but RTA Store promptly replaced them. The cabinets themselves are such great quality, easy to assemble and install. We have been very impressed. Highly recommend - the only negative was the receiving of the cabinets due to the confusing numbers on the boxes and the rules.
