Beware! I paid £7.99 p&p but then had to pay another £21.60 customs. It’s for my partner’s birthday so he hasn’t tried it yet. So far not very happy .

I wish id read the reviews before purchasing "The Photo Stick",every thing stated in the reviews i found out to be true starting with the non mention of customs duty to pay in their add blurb/non returnable if opened(how can one test without opening!!!!!)yes it found a couple of dozen lost!! photos but did not auto back up as stated my photo files which on exploration how to do so one would need a degree in computer science Recommendations Buy a bog standard external drive to save your photos as you go along

I have repeatedly tried to contact Photostick by email with a simple question for advice, but they DO NOT respond despite their offer of help. "once bitten"

Only give it one star to carry on I loaded my pics off an older Apple Mac but recently changed it all the pics did Not transfer across I thought great I have them at home BUT only thing I have managed to do is to go from a 2% used on the stick to around 40% used cannot get photos to transfer into my new Apple Mac A TOTAL WASTE OF £40 PLUS £10 TAX TO GET ABSOLUTELY FALSE SECURITY WASTED MONEY & TIME

Like many of the previous reviews I too was sucked in by the clever marketing hype. I was also foolish enough to buy two ( one for half price) I cannot get either of the devices to work, even with their “ tech support” even Apple support were unable to download the software, When I read the return instructions it said that if the product had been opened you could not get a refund! How do you know it doesn’t work if you dont open it? I too live in the UK and was charged an extortionate £34 customs duty on top of the 7.99 pp. take heed from the comments and DO NOT BUY. It’s a scam and a con!

Such poor customer service and attitude. Useless bunch. I blame myself for responding to a pop up on Facebook. Never again! The package took three weeks to arrive, and as I'm in the UK, has an excess tax plus VAT costing approx £16 extra. They DO NOT clearly state this for those of us in the UK. It should be stated at checkout clearly and not buried away. They do not respond to emails and just share the T's & C's (small print) via the chat window on the website. I tried to cancel 2 days after purchasing but was told it was too late, (it was still in the US when I used the parcel tracker) yet waited so long for delivery, The returns process is abysmal. You can only return for a refund if you don't open it. Pathetic! The stick itself is so average as is the software it uses.Slow and ponderous, the interface is comically poor. Cannot recommend to anyone.

Like others I was caught out by this scam, charged excessive import duty for three sticks. They are totally useless, no simple one click to access my photos, it required manual selection and transfer of files was appalling - one day quoted to load 5Gb of photos totally unacceptable and had to ejective stick to terminate the process. I have tried all three sticks and each one is the same, complete waste of time and money. Legal action should be taken against this company for dishonest trading.

I purchased a Photostick on July 18. When it finally arrived, it did not work as advertised. It took a few days to reach support, since there is no contact information. After a chat, they agreed to send me a replacement. I now own two devices that do not work, and so far, have been unable to make contact through "chat". Do not waste money and time on this product.
