The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

Before getting on The Farmer's Dog, Lainey's weight had been creeping up pretty steadily. She has since slimmed down considerably and has SUCH a spring in her step. She LOVES the food and we love the personalized and attentive customer service. Great company.

Absolutely love the food, but customer service is maddening. I have called at least five times to get the right amount of food shipped before we run out, and every time their system readjusts in a way that doesn't serve our needs. Four out of five agents were not helpful; one was amazingly good. My blood is boiling at I type this, because their agent could not explain why once again we are at risk of running out of food. P.S. My 14-year-old dog has come back to life on their food. P.P.S. After I posted this review, a supervisor reached out to me in a very professional and productive manner.

The food made my dog sick. They wouldn't cancel my order the day they billed it. I didn't realize that I had another order coming.

Love! Love! Love The Famer’s Dog. Everything they say is so true. My dog Bonnie had zero energy. She never wanted to get up from her bed or take walks. I was buying her the popular name brand dog food and so many times would end up throwing bowls away because she had no interest in eating it. I switched to The Farmer’s Dog and Bonnie loves to go on walks now, she loves to play, and when she sees her food coming out, her tail is wagging. She’s so excited she absolutely loves the food. Now about me, Bonnie’s hooman 😊. I live on a fixed budget, so I don’t have money to waste. And I have to say this is one of the best things I’ve ever spent my money on. My dog is healthy, happy, and I never throw away food. Bonnie eats it all In addition, I have never had customer service so great. I receive text messages from a person who actually responds to me in real time, not a robot. I could actually have conversations with their customer service via text and they get back to me immediately to answer all my questions. The Farmers Dog is the best purchase for both the human and the dog.

First of all I want to say, I have 3 dogs (chihuahuas) who just LOVE Farmers Dog. One is 14 yo, and the other 2 are brother/sister and they are 4 yo. The 14 yo acts younger again, and the other 2 are their ideal weight. They clean the dishes clean!! They come and let me know when it’s time to eat! I’m seeing other health benefits like shiny coats. More energy. Customer service is awesome. I’m happy!

I was introduced to the farmers dog with my family. On a visit I said you’re not cooking the meal and my sister showed me the prepackaged meals. Our Lexi is picky picky picky and I gave it a try. She seemed to eat it but I had to ween her sense of smell and take her off people food. I was hesitant about the cost but then I noticed she stopped scratching her body and now she eats her 2-3 meals and looks for her special treat after each meal. The farmers dog saved me so much time and effort in trying to coax lexi to eat. And the customer service is exceptional! The food arrives frozen in the dry ice box and the ordering is very easy. You can adjust and add treats and set the shipment at intervals. I have turned a few friends onto it now and their dogs are loving it. So glad I tried it and stuck with it.

Our pup, Yuna (18months) loves Farmers Dog. She has a sensitive stomach leading to soft poops and us looking everywhere for a food that works. Farmer's Dog has helped her so much. Yuna gets so excited to eat and is energetic and ready for each day. We do not have a huge budget so we use it as a topper which works great for us. We had recent loss in the family leading us to need to cancel our subscription. I was very stressed about the cancellation process but thanks to the easily accessable website it went smoothly. There was some miscommunication about the following order but after calling customer service it was all taken care of. Their customer service is the best I have experienced in a company. I will happily be returning to Farmers Dog again in the future thanks to my experience and their great quality food.

The customer service offered by Farmers Dog is only topped by the quality of their food. I have never experienced the level of customer service they provide from the first moment you join their family. The food speaks for itself but the customer service is outstanding!!
