The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

I have a 15½-year-old Chihuahua named Topper, and switching his diet to the Farmer's Dog recipes has literally changed his life! Before feeding Topper Farmer's Dog, he showed all the signs of being an "old" dog - he slept most of the time and he was indifferent to my attempts to get him interested in playing or physical activities such as our daily walks. He also had these fatty tumor-like growths on his rear end that had gotten larger over a period of about two years. Since starting his new diet, Topper has become energetic, playful, and is back to his old personality of seeing himself as being ten feet tall and bulletproof! The tumors on his hind end have disappeared defying all logic; Topper's Vet had recommended surgery to remove them, and she can find NO other reason for their disappearance other than Topper's change in diet. The Farmer's Dog has literally changed my Chihuahua's life!

My dog is a picky eater and we were worried she wouldn't eat enough to grow as a puppy. I knew she liked fresh food over kibble but as someone with a full-time job and busy schedule, it just wasn't possible for me to cook for her every week or go pick up fresh food at the pet store. Thankfully, I discovered the Farmer's Dog and haven't looked back since. The delivery makes it incredibly convenient and it is easy to adjust portions as you need to. In addition, there are multiple recipes so my dog never gets sick of the food. I feed her the Farmer's Dog for dinner and supplement with dry food for her other meals, which helps offset the cost. But, it's worth every penny in my opinion! It has really saved me a ton of headaches and worry over having a picky pup.

My first shipment came thawed, The Farmers Dog mailed out a new shipment the next day!!! Awesome!

Tried this food for my maltipoo and it created excessive diarrhea and some vomiting. I reached out to Farmers Dog and they basically accused me of not following instructions, which I did to a T. Instead of helping and cancelling my account, they sent a full order, $220 knowing it made my dog sick! My friend tried this food for her labradoodle with the same results. Save your time, money and health of your dog and get dog food elsewhere.

My finicky Molly loves The Farmer's Dog food! We had one carton arrive where the color of the frozen chicken was different from how other shipments had looked. I contacted the company, and received an immediate response! Though there was a reasonable explanation regarding the discoloration and I was assured it was still safe, I was not comfortable feeding it to Molly. They immediately accepted my concern and replaced the packages in question with no additional charge. I became a fast fan at that point!

I tried several other foods before trying this and my dogs would not touch. I have a diabetic dog and needed food she would eat twice a day when presented. I switched all 4 to Farmer's Dog and they ALL eat every meal! I get a text when the shipment is on the way and when I reply with a question I get a response. I don't understand the reviews saying poor customer service. The nutritional values and percentages are on the website for each recipe. You can go on your profile and change next delivery date or increase/decrease portions based on your specific dogs needs. Love this!

My dog will simply not eat it. I was advised to buy anchovy oil. If I am spending $171 a month, why on earth would I go spend more money? I had really high hopes, but it just didn’t work for us. Edited to add as of 9/3/21…not w word from them about shipping food back or credit

My 7 yr old lab mix acts like a puppy with tons of energy. Her coat has become so soft and shiny and her poops are regular and formed. All this since she began eating Farmer's Dog. She loves this food and I'm happy it's fresh and good for her. I've been converted over a year now and Farmer's dog is the best in it's category.
