I have always had a fussy eating dog, he lost a leg a year ago and I want him to have the best diet he can together with vitamins. So i wanted to try the raw diet. I can’t recommend this company enough I wasn’t sure how to get him to eat of the different varieties how much when etc I sent quite a few email questions and they can back promptly with always a lovely response. Wesley is still a bit fussy so I order less lamb & chicken, I buy the variety box and I email them after I order and the adjust the numbers of varieties for me

Folks, This is just about the most shocking thing ever! The Farmer’s Dog has to be the absolute best company ever that I have ever dealt with. We found out that our sweet Yorkshire terrier, Paisley, had cushings disease; she had lost her appetite and would not eat anything. We had only recently heard of this company; they offer fresh, healthy, real food which is prepackaged for your dog. They create a meal plan dedicated to your pet’s needs. We had a two week FREE trial. We lost Paisley a day after ordering. I emailed them to cancel the order, but it had already been shipped-very fast shipping! It came and was placed on dry ice, it looked great, and she would have loved it. Today we got a package in the mail, we were a little confused, and thought it must have been for someone else. The Farmer’s Dog had sent us the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and the sweetest email I’ve ever read! **We had a free trial, we had not paid one penny to this company. The compassion and care that they have exhibited is unreal to me. If you have a dog, I urge you to stop feeding them grossly over processed garbage that is killing them, and try The Farmer’s Dog. I have never seen such from a company, and cannot believe they did this for us.

I will start out by saying our dog absolutely loved the Farmer’s Dog food and he has not been excited about his food since we brought him home, so that makes our experience even more upsetting. Three out of 5 of our total orders from Farmer’s Dog have not arrived, or have been late to arrive- leaving us scrambling to find something to feed our dog for days at a time while we wait and refresh our tracking on the food. We have been in contact with several representatives (who have been very nice) but have not had much help with this. Our last time we were actually encouraged to buy more and assured that would show up and hold our dog over and that did not even show up. We have been cooking our dog food for about a week now waiting. For something of this price, there should be higher concern and priority with timing and shipping. We are very dissatisfied.

Was skeptical about this product initially, but the pups LOVE the food and even wake up early to eat!!! They lick those bowls DRY! I also feel better with the fresh option, I think they have more energy and enthusiasm. The only part that could be easier is how to measure portions, but that is minor.

Great- My dog, Cooper, absolutely loves the chicken, beef, and turkey recipes. He used to leave his blue Buffalo sitting for hours before eating it. He devours all of his meal as soon as we give it to him now and is super excited to do it. Not only that, but his skin redness/itchiness has disappeared. Bad- The cost is pretty high. While I don't mind paying it for him, I can understand why other people wouldn't or couldn't afford this.

Always good, fresh dog food. Better for your pet.
