Michele was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She exposed me to new types of therapy and encouraged me when I was ready to switch to someone with that specialty. I am very grateful for her help and the app was very convenient.

We could not use the time we had because of technical issues. We figured it out after 27 minutes and my therapist asked me to fill her in quickly (on an introduction and why I was calling). All in our 3 minutes.. I was still charged for my time and learned that I only had two 30 minute sessions covered under my insurance total. I would not try again.

Company said my Ins would cover everything then started charging my card after two sessions with no explanation. I received a third charge today which makes no sense because I cancelled after the second unauthorized charge. Customer service won’t respond, had to shut down my bank account to avoid future unauthorized charges.

I was lured into talk space as it was “covered” by my insurance. The app had me put in my insurance information and said the estimated cost was $0. What they don’t tell you is this means that they will charge your card whenever they need money. They charged me the first time because it was the “reminder of the cost of the session” (I had one phone call for 30 minutes cost me $135). Fine no worries I cancelled the service and never made another appointment. They charged me again the following month. I submitted an inquiry like they tell you to at “feedback at talkspace.com” about it and asked to have my card removed. Never heard back from anyone. Now another month and yet another charge. NO RESPONSE. Got an attorney and filed fraud charges. Maybe I’ll get a response now.

I felt heard and was given a better mindset for exercising. Christian is very kind and is easy to share my thoughts with.

I joined Talkspace about 2 weeks ago. I had my first live session and it went well, I actually really like the therapist. However, that’s when things started going downhill. Over the course of a week I sent the therapist 3 separate messages. Not once did she reply. I can see where she read two of my messages, and I asked her questions in each one to prompt a response and absolutely nothing. Not even an I’m busy I’ll get back to you. So then I submitted a ticket with customer service. That’s been almost 2 days ago. No response there. I then switched therapists. I messaged this new therapist a few hours ago and no reply. Not even a hello. My insurance is paying for my sessions and that’s literally the ONLY reason I haven’t canceled. As of right now this feels like a money grab. Aside from 1 Live session I’ve received no therapy and I’ve been ignored. I wouldn’t recommend Talkspace based on my experience.

This was my second attempt at Talkspace and again, it’s a disappointment. You are canceled on at the time of appointment. It’s unacceptable what Talkspace does for their patients. We come on here for help, not to be let down yet again with everything else going on with the world. Shame on this platform and their therapists/psychiatrists. They expect you to “schedule” an appointment in which you do. You then clear your schedule so you can be helped mentally for them to cancel on you last minute. I gave them 2 chances. Never again.
