Horrible experience with Talkiatry. Do not use them! They told my son that his therapist was in network. However when we got the bill we were charged out of network. Have been fighting the bill ever since but we will still have to pay the bill with a high out of network cost. Also the therapist Gregory Miller told my son after one 45 minute appointment ( $355) that he could not see him anymore, claiming his case needed to be in person. DO NOT USE Talkiatry!!!

DO NOT USE this horrible service. They do not care about their patients and have terrible communication and customer service. They are operating on a very slippery slope providing such sub-par mental health services to patients and they should be shut down.

The doctor didn’t do anything to help. He basically made fun of my condition. Horrible experience; but to be fair I’ve never come across a therapist or doctor yet that cared at all.

The psychiatrist I spoke to diagnosed me in an hour with a different disorder than the one I initially was given years ago and have been treated for. She even questioned whether or not I have this disorder at all. She bad mouthed a clinic I received my diagnosis from, questioned my other diagnosis, inferred that the medication I’m taking caused the first one although that’s chronologically impossible. She questioned my age, my symptoms, and my experience with this disorder which has been devastating and then let me know she didn’t think I would be a good fit. I was sent an email with links led by one having to do with substance abuse. I take ADHD medication and I don’t even drink.

Failed to inform me that my therapist had gone out of network. Claimed I did not have insurance, then claimed my insurance does not cover mental health. At no point did they inform me of the sudden change, or attempt to set me up with a new therapist.

If you have horrible history with depression suicide attempts and rape and drug experience don’t try to go through them they make you feel worse and lie saying if your not accepted they won’t bill you and even close your account the months later will send you a bill so save your time and money and look at going to your doctor and go from there. I was unable to dispute the bill due to my insurance accepting me getting care which is ridiculous as they were no help and made me feel worse and then having the nerve after they tell you they can’t accept you as a patient and you feel defeated and ball your eyes out have to ask why your crying worst experience ever and highly don’t recommend you would have better look getting help going to the er

The entire process with Talkiatry has been easy and extremely positive. I was paired with Dr. Weber and couldn't be happier. He is attentive, reassuring, and truly cares.

I was a new patient, had an appointment scheduled but decided to go with a local provider instead. I have emailed them 3 times, called them 4 times, and chatted on their website 2 times requesting to cancel my appointment, however, I have never received confirmation of the cancellation and every time I call, they say my appointment was not canceled. Mind you, they will charge you for not attending your appointment. Feeling like I am definitely dodging a "bullet" with not using this service.
