Dr was fine. this is about the company as a whole. I was out of a very important medication and my doctor was on vacation (thats fair, and happens). My issue is that the covering physician did not care to help me in what was clearly a mini crisis. Their policies are terrible, and its clear its only a profit driven company. I'd rather pay extra to see a private practice doctor and be able to actually trouble shoot issues that could affect my mental well being.

With authorization from my Child, we talked to rep Alejandra B. with Talkiatry on 1/9/2023 For a missed Appointment Date: 12/07/2022 due to our Childs car accident that day, before the time of their appointment. Our child could not make the appointment as they were in a very serious car accident. The car was totaled and our Child is lucky to be alive! Alejandra B. with Talkiatry sent us an email link in which we sent back via email the copies Alejandra B. with Talkiatry asked for. Copies of the hospital ER information, and pictures of our Childs flattened totaled car. As of today January 19, 2023 we are still getting billed, and when we call both phone numbers, no one answers, it just keeps asking for us to pay. We want this resolved and removed as our Child has emailed all the required documentation on January 9, 2023 of why they could not make the appointment and the charge should be removed.

Overcharged and overpromised. Said their doctors could provide medication. The doctor assigned could not prescribe medication and they charged $357 for 30 minutes to diagnose my son with an already known diagnosis. Charged for psychotherapy when no therapy was provided, only a new patient assessment was given.

Will not provide services without prior health insurance even if you are will to pay out of pocket. TOTAL Self Interest

Talkiatry was the WORST experience for me in healthcare. Talkiatry has and is negatively effecting my health. Talkiatry botched the insurance process saying they took it, then the very next day (after the appointment) wrote to me they did not take it AND would not bill me. Then, Talkiatry sent me a huge bill, and is harassing me via email and text messages. Talkiatry will not respond to my phone calls or facsimiles. Talkiatry currently has an F rating with the BBB. I encourage anyone who had a negative experience with Talkiatry to file reports/complaints on them. In my opinion, Talkiatry needs to be investigated. STAY FAR AWAY FROM TALKIATRY.

The are horrible. I scheduled an appointment a week out that was cancelled the day prior because the doctor was under the weather. Totally happens so I scheduled another a week out which was the soonest next session available for any doctor. That session was cancelled 1 day prior to the session because the doctor was not licensed in my state. Called and scheduled another session another week out - the soonest available and went to log on and there was no appointment on my schedule to join. Now I’m out of medication and asked if they have anyway to get me in prior to another week and was told no. Asked to speak with a manager or someone who could help and they said they were unable but they’d call me. Did not call me. If you are reliant on medications do not trust this shame company.

Literally the worst experience of my life with any medical company. They automatically scheduled recurring appointments without my permission and charged me $100 for a no-show fee. I tried to appeal it and the office said it was up to the provider who refused. Furthermore, the billing system is the WORST. The app stopped prompting me to pay before each session so I racked up a bill of $500 in copayments. I then enrolled in a payment plan which only lasted 3 payments until it just stopped. I contacted the office by both email and phone on several occasions and they assured me it was still in effect. Three months later, I am being harassed with constant emails and text messages about my overdue bill which is now being sent to collections. I’m on hold now for over 20mins waiting to speak to a manager. They are now telling me that their billing system has changed and I have to go on the website EXCEPT I CREATED A PAYMENT PLAN IN AUGUST!!!!!!! 30mins later I am told that the “manager” I was transferred to DOESNT EVEN WORK FOR THE BILLING DEPARTMENT and is sending ANOTHER TICKET…which does not do anything for me and I have to take out a personal loan to just get rid of this big mess before it affects my credit score.

Don't get involved with Talkiatry. They are a SCAM. They send you outrageous bills.
