I ordered a child costume in October 2021, they sent me an adult size costume. I contacted Spirit and they said return it for a refund. I immediately returned the costume unopened and they received it. I keep getting ridiculous answers like " I will pass this on to my supervisor" after I was already told my refund was processing. It does not tske months to process a simple return Still no refund. Nothing but a bunch of thieves and I will make sure to tell everyone I possibly can that my money was stolen! THIEVES!

Placed an online order for a shirt for a gift on November 11th, waited until December 7th to call and ask where my order was. They told me the package got lost in transit and sent out another one and assured me it would arrive before Christmas. Called again on December 20th asking where my order was and they told me it got lost again and they sent me a refund. Very unimpressed. I really wanted that shirt. Never ordering from Spirit Halloween again.

I purchased a costume and didn't try it on due to COVID. When I got it home plans had changed due to COVID restrictions. The costume wasn't opened and it was the 28th of Oct. I went to the store to find out that that was the cut off date for returns & exchanges. The manager would not talk to me and the employee was loud & rude stating they had decided that morning that no more exchanges or returns would be accepted. I tried calling the head office but no one would answer my call it would ring and then a recording would come on, this continued over and over for 1/2 hr. The "free" 866 # ended up costing me long distance charges and with the cost of the unused costume my disappointment turned to stress. To add to this, the store was over crowded and in the province where I live in the COVID law stated an indoor capacity to allow for social distancing as well as mandatory mask wearing - I saw several people not wearing masks. When I asked an employee about this I was told the manager did not enforce masks and as an employee they couldn't do anything. After years of purchasing through this company I am now anti-Spirit Halloween and would not recommend them to anyone. They are out to make money with their cheap and over priced products and they have no respect to their costumers needs or safety.

I purchased a blow up costume for my daughter to wear for Halloween ($60). When she tried to wear the costume on Halloween, the fan did not work, rendering the costume useless. My daughter was so disappointed not to have a costume to wear for the holiday. I sought resolution (I would have been happy with a refund, replacement or store credit) both in the store and by phone at the company's customer service center. Both places told me "We are sorry, but all sales are final." We have been purchasing our Halloween costumes and decorations from Spirit Halloween for years, but never again.

My son choose a costume that he didn't see the size well if it was for kids or adults and since he's 12 decided to go with the kids size that I accept it was a mistake and then I go back to the store and told them it hasn't been even an hour that this costume was purchased can we do an exchange and they said no all sales are final, so I decided not to say anything, because I didn't want to make a drama infront of a lot of people waiting in line. I decided to have my 8 year old daughter wear the costume is was a glowing stick figure that I asked her if she was ok on wearing it in order to make a use of those $50.00 that I spent and it ended up that the face mask wan't working I got even more upset tried to see if I could fix it in order to not go back to the store and complain about it, but unfortunately I wasn't able to, I go back to the store 2 days later cause I couldn't go right away and told them to please do something about it and they said NO...... I told them ok then I'll see if I can sew this stupid store and the lady told me I can't speak to you after me saying that which I understand she's going by the stupid store policies not blaming it on her but being disappointed of them not trying to do anything so I'm sew them yes it sounds stupid to do it for a Halloween costume, but it's not like I have money growing on trees and it hurts having to throw money away like trash knowing that you have to work hard on earning it, and purchase something that is worthless. So I'll see how it goes.

If I could give a zero star I would. Very unprofessional. The cashier didn’t apply to coupon said they couldn’t do anything and I would need to contact customer service ok that’s fine, but you can’t talk to a live person you have to email or do the live chat. I keep getting the run around I’ve talk to over 13 different people and Everytime I explain the situation send them what I need to they stop replying to me and then I have to start all over and now I keep saying that my emails are blocked and I need a password. I spent almost $200 and 2 of my sons customs zippers broke the first time putting them on. I would stay far away from this place.

I ordered my Halloween costume online on 10/7. Then on 10/10 i received an email stating it was shipped. I’ve been checking the tracking information with FedEx for weeks now (it’s stuck in transit) and still have not received my order. Every time I try calling them it says ‘Their phone line is closed’. Such a waste of money. Do not depend on this place to get you your order in a timely manner. Tomorrow is Halloween and I’ll be without a costume. Never ordering from here again!

I bought a costume for my son. When we got it home and put batteries in it the costume never lit up. Such a waste of money. They sell nothing but junk.
