So, I ordered two same hair dye, and got one that wasn't what I paid for. I asked nicely if they could send me the one I ordered and paid for, and they sent the wrong one 3 times now. At this point I was angry, but who looks more stupid, the person getting ripped off, or the company sending out tons of wrong product, that goes to their shortage at the end of the year?? I don't recommend this company, because they seem to take things a little personal, and send the wrong product out on purpose. So I was thinking how immature, this whole thing is, and keep wasting you hair dye Sally Beauty!! People, don't buy anything from them, they don't know the meaning of customer service, or how to handle situations as adults! They take everything too personal. Got to question what kind of company this is, is there no voice of reason from any hire ups?? or are the hire ups the same?

I went to the Sallys in Cromwell Ct to return an item with original receipt purchased less than a week ago. I made a split payment and actually just wanted store credit. The associate did not make any attempt to help me out. She insisted that i come back on a day when a manager was in. Well i don’t understand why a simple return with store credit was an obstacle for an associate to complete! She didn’t take the time to look at the receipt to see the types of payment (partial cash and the rest on a debit card) made at the time of purchase. I hope associates in that cromwell ct store go back and get proper training. A simple return for store credit should be something every associate can execute without the need of a store manager for items under $100!!! They would also do well with a lot more customer service training as they are lacking in that area as well.

I received a rewards coupon for a free product under $10 for becoming an Elite member. When I tried to use the coupon, I kept receiving an error message saying it's invalid. When I called customer service, their solution was to separate the order to apply the coupon to 1 product. I tried that and it still didn't work. I called back and was told that because the item was on sale for 8.99 and it's original price was 11.99, I could not apply the coupon to that item. I asked if there was anything else they can do to resolve this issue such as sending me a new coupon to use and I was told that the only option was to choose another product. I can't believe that I spent $$$ last year and this is the customer service I received. I'm very disappointed and will not be shopping here anymore.

The worst service I've ever had! I really needed a shampoo which was available on their website and ordered that. But to get free delivery I had to add few more items to my cart (which I didn't actually need). And then I got a notice that my order was sent to delivey, but one of the items is not available... (the shampoo, which was the reason for placing my order)... How come you get me noticed about such a thing after having my order delivered to me? It's unbelievable!

I went back to sallys a THIRD TIME trying to find a blue/black hair color . the one the 'professional hairdresser' gave me is PURPLE !!!

Store no longer provides bags for customers brought items. I had to carry all of my brought items out of the store in my arms. Cashier asked if I wanted to buy a Sally's designed paper bag to put my items in for carry out. I THINK NOT!

When I tried to pay it said that the payment didn’t go through and to provide a different card; however my card was charged. I did not receive any email or confirmation. They are also not very clear on their website in terms of their holiday period over Christmas and NYE . I think I will wait forever for my order and the products were 30% more expensive than on other retailers ..
