1.HOW TO FLOAT A SECURITY SERVICE SCAM THE RIGHT WAY.
1.salesman called "Mo" did not give last name, no phone # and no business card and no address of company. Typical of a scam, he left me NO papers, documents that I signed on the cell phone only. His response was that "they" would send me copies of all the documents. It's a very good scam tactic, because when an 84 yr.old person like me can't remember all I was told, waiting before sending the actual documents after the rescission period is up and too late to cancel the contract is very efficient way to force and coerce seniors into a lock on their money. 2. Mo advised me that canceling my Brinks Security should be delayed for 6 months before I informed Brinks that I was cancelling my contract. My Brinks contract is ending Nov. 2022.Said I would be billed $4.99/month for the next 6 months--June 2022, but would have to pay Safe Home Security $59/month after June 2022. 3. It meant that the $59/mo. I pay Brinks will continue to Nov. 2022. When I questioned MO about the cost to me of canceling Brinks early--in say 6 months or so--I would owe $59X6mo.=$360 penalty to Brinks--He on several occasions told me he would handle and pay that penalty. This tactic is a fraudulent tactic because your company will never pay me back the $360 I will have to pay Brinks for cancelling the contract early. THis same scam was pulled on me by Brinks in the same manner and never refunded the $700 they agreed to refund to me after I paid ADT $700 penalty for cancelling ADT contract early 2 years ago. If this happens not to be a scam against me as a senior costing me far more money to change Security companies, I don't know what is!!!! 4. MO wrote out the words I should use to cancel my contract with Brinks. exactly the same as Brinks did to me 2 years ago and stole my money, has never contacted me over two years of my writing letters to Brinks, calling them, and demanding they send me the paper contracts written on paper. Threats of mine were ignored. My attorney said it is a common trick to steal from unwary seniors, which I believe is happening here. 5. I tried to find Safe Home Security online and found only one reference to a company with that name in Connecticut. MO told me that his company is local---and never told me the phone # or address of the company--the name cannot be found in Las Vegas, NV. Even this email with the name Safe Home Direct, I was ready to delete in email, as a spam company as well. I had found no way to get to the Safe Home Security company anywhere, because I was not given any documents with the company name---wearing a t-shirt with the company name on it is another scam tactic used to make people believe they are from the company---because all licensed companies locally, representatives of the companies are required to wear a special ID card visible on their shirt.and neither MO or the installer ERIC (who drives for LYFT) had those required ID's. 6. Scammers arrive at the doorbell anytime from Fri.Noon to late Sun.night for obvious reasons. THere usually is no car that they came in at the sidewalk. If I try to print the documents they refuse to let me because is ruins their game. 7. I at first indicated to MO that he was trying to scam me, so he takes his phone and tells me he is calling a recent customer that joined your company. Of course he didn't permit me to call him, so he did the calling and I spoke with the man--it was a set-up for sure because the man was immediately available to the call and had fruitful comments about the service he got, even mentioned he was a military veteran for some reason---how would he know that i was also a veteran?? unless MO had told him previously,or while he spoke with the guy before he handed the phone to me. A bribe always helps convince others to buy in-to the service being offered. 8. So I opened up the email from Safe Home Direct to see if it had anything to do with Safe Home Security. There was the name ALARM.com and stating that they were providing this form to fill out. A

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed review about recent experience with your partners. we are disheartened to hear that many elements of your experience were disappointing. We wanted to let you know that we have performed an analysis your account history with our office. At the time that you entered into your agreement with our office, you participated in what we refer to as our “Pre-Call” survey. This is a video/audio recorded survey during which you were asked a series of questions designed to ensure that you understand your rights and obligations under your agreements. All of our customers are required to participate in and pass this survey prior to the physical installation of their systems. While it is always distressing to discover that a customer is claiming a disparate interpretation of the nature of his/her transaction with our company, we make our best efforts to take the requisite proactive measures to handle such a situation when we encounter it. Our primary strategy for ensuring our customers are equipped with the important information about their agreement is to require that all customers of Safe Home Security participate in both a pre- and post-installation survey, both of which are recorded. We will call you in the AM to discuss your complaint in detail.
