My therapist built great rapport with me. She was very understanding and helped me a lot when feeling of complete doom.

I would not recommend Sharika Gardner Spates as a therapist here at Rula or anywhere for that matter. Careless, goes against what she says in prior sessions, no accountability, lacks common sense, and charges you just to fill out paperwork when she feels like it with zero expectations or communication prior to your very first session. Now I have to get my doctor (if they will do it) to fill out my ADA accommodation forms which I need due to my mental health, anxiety, and stress at work after my some called therapist stated she will fill them out at no charge. She also continued to delay filling out the paperwork and caused my claim to be close/denied at NYL due to no information being received. Very disappointed! 0/10 don't recommend! Ridiculous!

My experience with my therapist has been phenomenal. She’s professional and kind and respectful and skilled at navigating difficult issues with care and support. The company has made finding a therapist accessible and easy, which I have never experienced before.

Therapists are just extremely judgmental people who wanted to be paid to tell other people how to feel, what to feel or they are wrong in their feelings. They give you homework to find out your problem yourself, instead of the therapy I paid for to talk about problems. It’s always about them, how they do things better than other therapists, why they are different this time. It’s always about building up the therapist to make themselves feel credible. Providers will try and use every excuse to get you to cancel, some seem like they don’t want to help, just collect the money. I’ve never felt more disconnected with a healthcare professional than when I talked to 3 different people through rula. I’m not sure if rula needs to screen their providers better or if it is really a lost cause with therapists, as they are all hardly genuine.

I booked an appointment thinking this was covered through my insurance. Turns out it’s not covered, and Rula is trying to charge me $210 for half an appointment that was just a questionnaire with a therapist who had no idea what she was doing. The appointment was supposed to be 1.5 hours, but I cut it at 45 minutes because the therapist was so uninterested in the questions she was asking, and she seemed confused by the process (it was also her first session with Rula). It is was a questionnaire that I could’ve filled out before the appointment. I’d have preferred that. No actual therapy was offered. I’ve asked for a refund, and so far, Rula is still charging me for this.

She makes me feel really relax, really welcoming doesn’t sure Coach. Anything. Don’t justify my actions, but understanding.

Decided after thinking I would give a therapist a try I received four or five appointments, bombarded with emails and what really made me decide to cancel, was the information they wanted about such things like dental. I was provided a list of dentist names. Are you kidding? How about giving me a chance to work with the therapist for a while before asking health questions that were only for their sales of other health care providers!
