If you’re interested in a e-bike the best thing you can do is buy from a local dealer of a well known brand. These bikes are cheap and your local bike shop won’t touch them. Ride1 up customer service and there’re tech service dept are totally useless. You’re better off buying from Amazon or Walmart. Good luck in your search but stay away from these cheap china made bikes

Worst customer service ever! DO NOT PURCHASE E-BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT OR HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES! I ordered and received a REVV1 FS e-bike about 10 and 1/2 months later it started having electrical problems & throttling on its own and became completely unsafe to ride. Customer service tried to direct me to buy certain parts to fix it, once I inform them it was still under the 12-month warranty they changed their view on it and said they couldn't send me parts to fix it because they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Even though they already told me to purchase a controller and a cadence sensor which would cost approximately $200. They then asked for video of the way the bike operated. I sent them numerous videos of the bike and the way it operated and they still claim they could not figure out what was wrong with my bike to warranty any parts to fix it. Over 60 emails including videos back and forth n still nothing they could figure out to fix the issue. It wasn't till after contacting and making a report with Better Business Bureau that they figure it out what part needed to be sent out to fix the bike. This part was only $60 on their website and it's unbelievable that they would fight so hard to not send such a cheap part. DO NOT PURCHASE E-BIKES FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!?

I ordered two Turris bikes last year and I have just 100 miles on them. One battery is fine but the battery on the other bike stopped working. One of the reasons I bought a bike from Ride1Up is that there are a lot of good reviews for customer service. When I contacted Ride1Up they said that the issue is probably a blown fuse inside the battery and this is not repairable by customers. I live in British Columbia Canada and the closest repair facilities are in California and Nevada. With only 100 miles on the battery this is a huge disappointment, and speaks to the quality control. I hope the other battery is a good one, but right now it is kind of sad to have one battery for two bikes. Not satisfied with customer service, because when I received the bike I also reported a bent rear derailleur hanger. Ride1Up says it has no record of my report though I have email proof. Again, disappointed. In hindsight, I should have gone with a RAD bike since they are based closer to me in Seattle and they have local store in Vancouver, Canada.

Slightly iffy quality control is made up for by good value and customer service. I've had three different Ride1UP bikes now. The first two went totally smoothly, but my new Vorsa had an 'error 30' after assembling it. This can be a bit scary in the world of DTC ebikes, but their support was able to send out a replacement controller and then a replacement screen that ended up fixing the issue. They were also helpful in the past when I needed an out-of-stock replacement part for my Prodigy V1. Would've been nice if my new Vorsa had worked perfectly out of the box, but their support was super helpful in getting out replacement parts with no fuss, and the bike is great (and great value) now that it's working. And I have a spare controller now lol.

After researching different foldable ebikes, I ordered the Portola from Ride1Up. The bicycle arrived very quickly and my husband put it together in about 40 minutes. Then we went for our first ride. I love this bicycle!! I can get it in and out of the car myself, and it has quite a few bells and whistles that I didn't expect. And the team at Ride1Up was excellent to work with when I goofed up the order. They were flexible and went above and beyond to help me. I highly recommend Ride1Up - and hope my husband will order his new Ride1Up bike soon.

I have a V3 Roadster e-bike. > Pirelli gravel tyres - unsafe/skid hazard in wet conditions - I recently fell off my bike when braking, the bike skidded. A bike org review of the tyre shows that it’s got lack of traction in the wet. I emailed Ride1Up about this requesting different tyres more suited to the wet, and they offered no compensation, noting they are not used to the wet in San Diego. > Braking hard can lead to a wobble when riding - I almost lost control on a commute. As such I would recommend testing the brakes and getting comfortable with them. In my case braking semi-firm (not hard) seems to slow the bike quickly but not wobble the bike.

I had the 700 Series for 4.5 years and ridden about 5000 miles on it. The battery is still strong, and no parts have ever shaken loose. I am looking forward to buying another bike from Ride1Up once I sell this one.

This bike feels like it was built for me. The pedal assist helps me get up hills and allows me to ride alongside my husband, who is a stronger rider. Shifting, braking, and moving up and down the levels of pedal assist is easy and smooth. We appreciate the torque wrench and tools that arrived with the bike! Nice touch!
