Worst ever rental experience. This is really a bad company. Hertz managed to rent the vehicle entended for me to someone else totally wrecking this long weekend. Now almost a month after the trip Rentalcars are refusing to refund my prepaid expense for a rental car that was never made available to me. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!

RENTAL CARS SCAM!!!! THEY CHARGED ME AND DIDN'T GIVE ME A REFUND AND THE CALL CENTRE PERSON WAS SO RUDE SHE STARTED SHOUTING OVER THE PHONE, I TRIED TO EXPLAIN HOW THE CAR COMPANY DIDN'T SUPPLY ME A CAR. ALL THEY WANT IS THE MONEY

If I could post a NEGATIVE STAR I would. Long story short: rental was paid with the US Government covid stimulus card (card was empty so we tossed it); cancelled due to family emergency. Refund was to be placed on the debit card (that we don't have) - they could give us the last four numbers but nothing further. Asked for a supervisor and DENIED by "Christina." She did verify she was in a call center overseas. Next attempted a computer chat with "Lourin Boli." Stated couldn't give me the card number for secuty reason. Asked for a supervisor and DENIED. I have the transcript w Mr. Boli. What kind of business REFUSES a customer to talk with a supervisor ??????? Rentalcars.com is part of the Booking Holdings Inc

And now Im trying to get my money back and the only answer is fully loss! What the hell means that! this online company should not exist!

This platform has fraudulent actions with their terms of payments. I had negative experience with them and I have been penalised by 150 euro for a service which I have not received.

Every year, I rent cars several times in all countries of the world and I NEVER had an issue, but this time I used Rentalcars.com !After 1 day of my reservation my trip were cancelled so I decided to cancel the car reservation i made, I was shocked when they took the deposit and it was free cancellation. I contacted them several time the answer was (We take the payment for the deposit as soon as they booking is made) I will not use them again, and I am surprise why they wrote FREE cancellation. Its kind of trick to collect money. TAKE CARE EVERYONE BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING My advise is use another company Albert

Looking at the reviews I seem to have got off lightly I took all my documents to europecar the only thing I did not have was the code that you can get off the dvla website or you can get it at the car hire desk it could involve a small charge or so rental cars.com told me when I booked but you actually need your national insurance number now this was never mentioned but I had to go home and get the number costing about £28 round trip and I can’t ring anybody how many times does this happen if they had only mentioned it
