Used the platform to rent a car from Hertz. But the selected car was not in Hertz programme and has never been in Hertz it. Hertz told me that Rentalcars.com knew about this, but did not want to change it. I was offered a smaller car where we could not have our luggage. We ended up paying extra 40 euros to get a car that match the size we ordered. I contacted Rentalcars.com afterwards but never they never replied with more that an auto reply. I will never use Rentalcars.com again.

WARNING -Car Rental Scam I rented a car via booking.com (didn’t know they used Rentalcars.com) They charged me the full amount rental + insurance Goldcar charged me 40 eur on pickup for the « part of insurance unpaid » Asked booking some explanation and refund... request transferred to Rentalcars, and no reply for more than 3 weeks... nobody cares too many intermediaries TO AVOID Received confirmation from Booking/Rentalcar of refund, the agent (or practice) of Goldcar is to blame he used tricks and lies to make me signing on their insurance of 40eur so I was actually doubled insured

I booked a car at the airport and when I arrived at the airport at 11pm, I found out that the car supplier was 30 minutes away by train from the airport. I asked to cancel the booking and get a refund as I clearly selected « airport » when I booked, and everybody will agree that it makes absolutely makes no sens to rent a car that far from the airport, especially when there are like 10 car suppliers at the airport. I chat with their ridiculous customer support who told me that I should have choose another one … The app is not only unuseful but also clearly misleading. On the top of that the customer service is just dishonest. Any normal company who have agreed to send a refund as it’s normal to not pay for this … It’s not about the money I lost, it’s about ethic.

Rentalplus.es - DO NOT USE THIS AWFUL COMPANY I recently rented a car in Valencia, Spain with this car hire company, through Rentalcars.com. I made the booking on 3rd August 2021 to pick up the car after landing from the UK on Monday, 30th August 2021. To my horror - after having taken a taxi from the airport to the pick up address (it is a 10 minute drive away and no hospitality buses to take you there!), I found that the office was closed! After various calls to the head office in Madrid and having been bounced from one person to another, I was told that I must have made a mistake because the office was open (I speak Spanish so no ambiguity que to a language barrier). Luckily the taxi driver offered to take a photo with a time stamp to prove this was not the case. I ended up having to fork out an additional 40euros in taxi fares to go to my accomodation and called the next morning. I was then told that they had been on holiday the previous day and that I could go and collect the car that day! I have since been struggling to get a refund on the day's loss of use of the vehicle, the taxi costs and the costs of various calls from my UK mobile to the spanish numbers. They refuse to entertain any refund and only offer me a 100euro voucher to use next time I hire with them. Not likely......they have terrible customer service and the car was badly dented on the side with a limit of 250km per day! KEEP AWAY FROM THESE SHYSTERS AND DO NOT HIRE FROM THEM!

Hidden costs but they promote "No hidden fees Know exactly what you’re paying". Had to pay double insurrance just to avoid "deposit" , and had "full protection" - Ice Rentals Car needed service, wind shield wipers totaly destroyed!!! Car should NOT be on the road - not safe!

Don't trust this company they take your money and when you go to Puck your car up as they are a third party you do not get your car I was left stranded at the airport with no car and £268 out of pocket they are looking into this but its been 3 weeks now and still have no out come

Never ever use this provider! I Honestly had the worst experience regarding car rental... stay away at all cost... don’t be fooled by there attractive quotes... not helpful and not reliable

In a contract was written no additional charges. Then picking up the car I ended up being charged double more than was initially paid. I shared copies of the contract and rules, but no action was taken to resolve the issue.
