Worst experience ever. Had to change pick-up date from July 13 to 14 due to airline cancelling our flite on the 13th. Raised our rate by 300 dollars. went to cancel flite. No free cancel. charged 125 dollars to cancel flite 2 months in advance. This company is terrible to work with. Will book directly with rental car company from now on!!

Stay away. Ripoff. I made a reservation thru them for an attractive price -- $301. When I got to the counter, the Dollar agent told me I owed another $135. Agent was firm -- no money, no car. I paid it thinking rentalcars.com must have made a mistake. But no, that's how rentalcars.com works. They could reserve your car for $1.00 leaving you to pay another $500 at the rent-a-car airport counter. Being based in London is another hide-out for these scammers -- they're beyond the reach of the Better Business Bureau. But that doesn't stop you from disputing the charge with your credit card company. Spread the word.

I booked a car on RentalCars.com... My flight was late 24 min, landing at 21:24 and not 21:00. Offices were close... and they did not reply to my calls or TEXTs. A recorded message in Spanish was all they had. When I tried to cancel: my rental payment was reclassified as a cancellation FEE. Since arrived late, they refused to refund.

I booked a car q on RentalCars.com... My flight was late 40min, landing at 20h and not 19h30. Offices were close... and they asked me to sit and wait for 2hours !! When i tried to cancel: impossible. Since i arrived late, they refused to refund. I lost 2 days of rental but i hope this message will spread all over and they will pay the price of their unfairness. Note: it was not written on rentalcars that their offices (of car q) are not inside the airport. You need to go to the parking, wait for a navette, etc... you'll lose hours, money and energy.

They take the money immediately and yet I get no emails (aside from confirmation) in the lead up toy trip. Arrive at the airport to find out the car is not in the airport and that they need to collect me. How can they possibly do that if we haven’t arranged it in advance and they don’t even know how many of us there are?! When you eventually get through to someone she’s basically a messenger. She tried to get ahold of the person in charge of collecting us and there’s no answer. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! Wasted 2 hours of my time in Milan with these absolute buffoons. When I started to talk to the staff working at the on site car rental desks, they all tell me how at least twice a day people are getting scammed by these fools

When you need help is super difficult to contact them and even you did contact them, they will use every excuses possible to not give your money back.

I booked to rent a car through rentalcars.com and they confirmed my booking. 3 days before my travel, they sent me email informing me that there is no availability and they cancelled my booking, although it was confirmed by them earlier! The bad thing, I searched their website after the cancelation, and I found cars available in the same time and location, however the price was double! It's a time and money wasting website. Scammers!
