Instead of getting professional help, my daughter used this app. She committed suicide 9 months after quitting drinking. She met a scam artist in the guise of "Life Coach", who took her money and fed her mental illness. This app shouldn't exist.

C'est un piège !!! J'ai voulu testé l'application pendant la période d'essai de 7 jours et dès le début j'ai cherché à annuler le prélèvement mais je n'ai jamais pu trouver le cheminement pour empêcher le prélèvement, 7 jours plus tard j'étais prélevé de 129€. J'ai fait une demande de remboursement auprès d'Apple qui a été refusée. Bref je me suis fait avoir pour une application médiocre.

I canceled my subscription and was still charged. I have reach out several time for a refund. I keep getting emails saying it’s coming. It’s been over two weeks now and I have not received anything!

Don’t do it. The app is patronising, judgemental and very heterosexual oriented. It’s also very targeted towards Americans. I didn’t learn anything new from this app other than being and feeling judged. The limits you set are not monitored, there’s no encourage t and the app looks at selling other products to you. If you’re looking to give up alcohol do it yourself as I did after 8 weeks trying unsuccessfully with reframe. 8 weeks after using the app I’m alcohol free with no need for their homophobic ‘lessons’ and judgement of behaviour

I had to write a review on Reframe after reading all the negative reviews on here. I have been on Reframe for just over 200 days and sober for the same amount of time. The app, the community within it and the coaches have been nothing short of incredible. They are the reason I have remained (happily sober) all this time. I have tried to get sober for over 10 years and this time it's sticking. The fee doesn't even come close to reflecting it's worth. Imagine how much you spend on alcohol, therapists or even rehab? There are many Reframe users on the app who have failed with conventional rehab and found Reframe to be more successful. Some people have done a mix of different therapies and found that useful. All is accepted on Reframe. You are not shamed for slip ups, that's all part of the journey. I have even given up smoking and other substances with the support of Reframe. I have felt supported by the community and coaches and empowered by the knowledge of how the brain gets hijacked by alcohol. I have learnt so much about myself and why I drank. It's not just about quitting alcohol. It's about the human condition and for this knowledge and the confidence it has given me I am truly grateful. The online zoom meetings are a game changer. I urge anyone with alcohol abuse issues to try Reframe, even if it's for a month. I know now that I will never question the decision to stop drinking. Thanks Reframe for changing my life.

I agreed to a 7 day trial. On the 7th day I was charged $174 for a yearly subscription which was never in my budget. I now realise Apple is affiliated with them as I was refused a refund from reframe then sent a link to the App Store to request a refund which was refused and no other avenues to dispute this. I’ve put in a formal complaint to the ombudsman i will keep everyone updated. Thought it was a helpful app but yet another greedy heartless corporation.. Steer clear all the information they supply is free online. Luck everyone on there journeys 🙏

This is a disgusting scam, do NOT JOIN, I’m a reporter acting as an alcoholic who needs support and this app will take your money and give NOTHING.

The sheer fact that you have to pay and be in a subscription for basic alcohol awareness, makes this a scam. It does contain scientific knowledge, however, this is all accessible online and through free sources in the community. If you're going to pay for help for maintaining/cutting your alcohol use, please seek professional help.
