Good program except they are a proponent of segregation. They have separate meetings for blacks and indigenous people. This is the problem in society today. We need to be one people. I think they do it for the money. Sorry to say. They need credibility
Response from Reframe: Drink Less & ThriveSep 27, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry that our meeting options left you with this impression.
Reframe does not support segregation or exclusion. Our goal is to create a welcoming and supportive community for everyone. Some of our meetings are designed around shared experiences or identities to give members additional spaces where they may feel comfortable discussing experiences that are particularly relevant to them. These are offered alongside our broader range of community meetings.
We appreciate you raising your concern, and we’ll continue working to ensure our community offerings reflect our commitment to inclusion, connection, and support for all Reframe members.

App is fine. Subscriptions are not. Be aware
I actually quite enjoyed using the app and found it helpful. What I didn't like was my experience of subscription. I made sure I cancelled my subscription on my Google account, double checking several times. I was very surprised to see that they went ahead and took a further annual subscription from me. It took me several emails and a complaint made via my bank to actually get the money refunded. Not good enough and it let them down as a company.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that you found the Reframe app helpful, but we’re very sorry that your experience with the subscription and refund process did not reflect that.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to see another annual charge after believing your subscription had been canceled, and then having to follow up multiple times to resolve it.
Please reach out to us again at [email protected] and reference this review. Our team would appreciate the opportunity to look into what happened with your subscription and review the situation again.
We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this caused.

Great features. Appalling support if you are in Aus/NZ - UK
The app has some fantastic features. One of the very best features that keeps a lot of people engaged and returning to the app (according to both app members and a news article that interviewed the creators) was being able to attend group Zoom meetings. This is the thing that sets it apart from similar apps. These meetings are led by coaches and create a wonderful sense of support and community. The meetings are absolutely fantastic. There are so many different topics covered so something for everyone regardless of the journey you’re on regarding alcohol. The problem is because of the time zone difference if you are in Australia or New Zealand there are only a few meetings a week you can go to — whereas if you are in the US there are several (up to 9 meetings per day!!!!) . The coach that covered a 5:30 pm Australian /NZ (ps a lot of UK and European residents attended this as well) time meeting is on leave and Reframe have completely dropped the ball (for approx. 3 weeks now) despite many messages from attendees of that meeting and despite messages from several of the coaches. Reframe has done nothing to fill this spot for the last few weeks. Some of the coaches (Who run the meetings) have stepped up out of the goodness of their hearts at 3am their US time! to host this meeting and make it possible — this is obviously unsustainable. There have also been scheduled meetings that many attendees show up for and there is no coach. We’ve discovered this is not the coaches fault but rather scheduling complacency from Reframe. The coaches are truly amazing. The support and interest from the company itself is absolutely appalling. There are qualified people in Australia who have mentioned they are willing to host those meetings. Absolutely no response from Reframe. Crickets. Nothing. Despite many members reaching out to Reframe. Incredibly disappointing. When you attend these meetings most people say they would be lost without them - even from USA attendees. With over 6 million subscribers, I am pretty sure the coffers would allow for one meeting per day in Australia (or Australian later afternoon time zone that would allow for NZ and European attendees) , which is when a lot of people are triggered to drink. Many of of the meetings in the US are later in the day for them. My subscription runs out next month and I am seriously considering not resubscribing because of this, I know of others who are also in the community who are possibly not re joining because of this. I am happy to pay their annual cost — but not if there is such a great gap in who the resources are allocated to. They should tell you before you subscribe that if you are in Southern Hemisphere there will be very little possibility for attending the meetings. Love the content. Super disappointed in support/follow-up and Reframe’s disinterest and lack of response to many many members reaching out for clarification on future meetings. Seems money making is more important than a true sense of what the app was originally designed for.

I signed up for the $49.99 every 3…
I signed up for the $49.99 every 3 months deal. I also signed up for a couple add-ons at $19.99 each. I don't even remember what those were for but I don't think whatever it was I paid for that I'm getting. but what's really appalling to me as I jumped into a meeting and I it was my fourth meeting. the first three were okay one of them was amazing. but right from the get-go this meeting became about hating white men and then the chat was negative the comments were negative it just became this evil nasty divisive bigoted disgusting thing. and let me tell you they're a little zoom is not easy to navigate and I was subjected to way too much of that while I was trying to figure out how to turn that dang meeting off. the chat was negative the video is negative and the coach says to this girl oh you and I could be friends and so that told me where her heart was. that she embraced all that negative horrible diarrhea spewing from that woman's mouth right from the beginning and that set the tone for the entire meeting. I don't want to single dime of mine going towards that kind of hate and racism. I have sent an email to support. and I'll probably have to end up trying to go through my credit card to get my money back. but I'm not supporting racism and sexism under the guise of healthcare. nope

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, Maria. What you’ve described is deeply concerning, and we understand why you would feel upset and disappointed.
Reframe’s community meetings are meant to be a place where members can come together, feel supported, and share their experiences in a safe and respectful environment. Everyone who joins should feel welcome and respected. Hate, racism, or discriminatory comments have no place in our community, and this is not the experience we want anyone to have when they come to Reframe.
We’re taking your feedback seriously and will be looking into what happened in this meeting, including the chat and how it was moderated.
We also want to make sure your concerns about your purchase and add-ons are properly addressed. We’ve seen that you’ve reached out to our Support team, and we’ll make sure your request is handled as soon as possible.
If you’re comfortable sharing more details about your experience, including which meeting this occurred in, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’d like to understand exactly what happened so we can follow up with the coach and take the appropriate steps.
Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. We genuinely care about our members’ experiences, and your feedback helps us identify where we need to do better.
Warmly,
Reframe Customer Support

I was appreciating the ability to track…
I was appreciating the ability to track my sobriety, but my annual subscription simply disappeared one day and despite a long and helpful thread with their support that involved me purchasing a SECOND annual subscription, I still can't log in to the app and recovery original data

I can confirm that we’ve now successfully connected your account, and you should be able to log in to the app again and access your subscription and data.
We truly appreciate you sticking with us while we worked through this, and we’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused.
