Plushcare on the surface offers a lost cost entry to healthcare. But it's really not. They advertise as uninsured being the cost of membership + $129 a visit. We used insurance for a visit and paid $129 up front, and a month later were billed for near $200. Meaning to say: if you have insurance it's now okay to rip you off for more than an uninsured visit. That is in and of itself in bad faith. It definitely doesn't make sense compared to other fixed cost providers. The care itself was not extraordinary and I would not recommend using this platform over competitors - the care is the same, the cost is not.

OK - I knew I had a UTI, was traveling, and needed an RX my PCP wouldn't prescribe without a visit (don't get me started...) I signed up with Plushcare and a couple of hours later had a teledoc appointment. The Dr. showed up on time, we talked for less than 5 minutes, she called my RX in and I was on the med within 2 hours. That's the only reason for not giving this 1 star: if you are in a lot of pain and can't wait, you may decide this hugely expensive service and broken billing/cx experience is worth it. I've been emailing with them for the last month to no avail. The details for those curious: I paid $39.80 upfront (quoted Aetna copay) vs. the $199 cost for those without insurance, and expected my total out-of-pocket not to be much more than that after they reconciled the claim. Instead, Plushcare billed me for an additional $159.20 (to add up to the $199) despite the fact that 1) they are in network with my provider and not able to charge more than $75 according to their diagnosis code and 2) that my insurer has already paid them a portion of the bill. Something is seriously broken in Plushcare's billing process and there is no phone number to contact for billing issues. Luckily my insurance agent is equally fired up about this situation and we've been sitting on hold for the last hour waiting to connect... I'm hopeful my insurance provider can help me sort this out, but this has been the biggest headache and Plushcare is so frustratingly unavailable. I'd only recommend Plushcare as an absolute last resort.

Dr. never even showed up. Pretty sure this site is a scam. I'm a real, regular person just looking for some affordable and accessible healthcare and I should've known better than to expect it from a company. Disgusting.

The Dr asked me questions pertaining to the infection and explained what she was giving me for treatment and what to do if systems got worse

It was wonderful to speak to a doctor from the comfort of my own home. The doctor was responsive, nice and gave me 2 prescriptions that I needed. She gave me some good tips for going forward with my health. Very good experience!

This was the second time I utilized plush care services and received no help. Im running a temperature for 3 days with deep cough and significant sinus pain. I thought it would be easier to go through plush care since i have a disabled child to care for on top of work. I received zero treatment, zero sympathy. I was told by Dr Law she is there to give advise. This is not a doctor visit. Save your money & time and go to immediate care. This is not an option if you need immediate help .
