I wrote a hugely negative review a couple weeks ago because my plushcare doc was demanding in-person visits to continue my high blood pressure meds to conduct tests that I wasnt interested in doing and threatened to cut me off from meds. But woo hoo, she renewed the meds and I am just so very thankful!!

I love this service, however the billing department and customer service I receive leaves a lot to be desired. I gave 3 stars only because I have great experience with the doctors I have seen. I have had multiple problems with invoicing. I pay invoices and continue to get payment reminders. When I call and email no one can seem to track these via their own invoice numbers. I have put tickets in and have no resolution. Unfortunately, I will need to cancel my membership if they don't pull it together and give me some resolution.

The service is relatively convenient. Doctors are available within 6 hours usually, and they are ontime. If they can't help you and send you to a doctor, they don't charge you. However, the auto-renewal business model is a little sleazy. If you subscribe, you are automatically signed up to auto renew. You can't get a refund if they renew you automatically. You can cancel (and you get a warning that you will lose care even if they just charged you for a year), but you will be RESUBSCRIBED to AUTORENEW if you book an appointment in the year that you paid for it. So, to prevent auto renewal, you have to cancel the service every time you book an appointment.

It’s a wonderful concept but the $20 membership fee is not affordable. This country is in the middle of an inflation and it’s hard enough to make ends meet to have to throw away $20 towards seeing a doctor once a year when you’re sick. I would have stayed if it wasn’t that I would be charged for a membership.

The doctor was nice, but the service is too limited and too difficult to cancel to make it worthwhile. Aside from the copay, you will also be charged a monthly "membership" fee that is not presented clearly upon sign up. You'll pay this regardless of your insurance plan.

Hi Charles, Thank you for your feedback! Per terms of service, when you book your first appointment, you are automatically enrolled into our membership program, which is free for the first 30 days. This will allow us to continue to provide our patients with the very best telehealth services including same or next-day appointments, access to some of the top doctors in the country, and innovative digital health services such as in-app messaging. The membership is communicated in a multitude of ways: 1. There is a membership tab on the top of www.plushcare.com. 2. When you book the first appointment that enrolls you into membership there is a summary of the cost of the membership. 3. In our welcome email, titled "Welcome to PlushCare", which details the membership benefits. You do not have to be part of the membership to use our service but it does require to call in to make any appointments.
