Plushcare, unlike other Virtual Visit telemedicine providers, tells you that they have NO psychiatrists, when there are a multitude of psychiatrists listed on THEIR OWN SITE! Then, you're told that they do NOT prescribe controlled substances, even as low level as benzodiazepines. On top of this, their agent was rude, besides lying that they have no psychiatrists. I wouldn't deal with this company, period.

Do not use the company! Their billing is a nightmare. I stopped using them 3 months ago, paid my copays, Plushcare's charges AND I'm still getting billed.

This is a nightmare of a company to work with. The advertising that declares it a "convenient" and comfortable way to get basic healthcare is definitely NOT TRUE. My experience was horrible from start to finish. I had an initial appt...the doctor was in a hurry, met for 4 min, wanted some labs. The labs cost a lot because there isn't a Quest. There is no way to easily ask questions from the company. You can call, but you will be on hold for 2 hours. There is a call back option. You may or may not get called back... Does this all sound familiar? Yep, they have the EXACT SAME ISSUES that any in-person doctor's office has. It's hilarious that they try to market it as in any way easier. In fact, it's even worse. They start setting auto emails that may have nothing to do with why you saw a doctor in the first place, saying they want to see you again in 10 days or other things. Then you make an appt (in my case I thought that meant they had received the bloodwork and wanted to talk to me about it) but when I got on with the doctor he was like no I don't have it why did you schedule an appt? He practically yelled at me and was on for 2 min. Luckily I did manage to get that refunded after making more phone calls. Then I had to call 2 more times to get help. I will be cutting ALL ties with this company and will absolutely encourage you to think VERY VERY carefully before trying this. It's not going to be any easier on you unless you live more than 30 minutes from a decent doctor. YUCK

In a nutshell, what everyone else is complaining about. They don't honor their guarantee that if you're not treated you will be refunded, they claim they take insurance but of course are out of network for even BCBS and UHC and then surprise bill you for another $100 or so. Then the service itself - the doc mis-prescribed a medication meaning I was on the hook to pay another provider for the service I should have gotten here. Customer service is awful. After 8 times emailing with them they don't even answer my question about whether the "guarantee" is for real or just a way to stick it to you with high bills. Never, ever use them.

I have had the worst luck with my own doctor that I have been seeing the last 15 years to give me any prescriptions for antibiotics when I am sick. The Plush Physician was early on the call by 10 mins and listen to me and my concerns and gave me antibiotics for my bacterial sinus infection. I definitely recommend using plush and avoiding the doctors office.

There are features that could make this experience better. The doctor is nice enough but with using insurance I’m only saving $10 out of pocket. Unable to download a PDF of the charges for reimbursement from my flexible spending account. Also, unable to download the visit summary into a PDF file. Update: I was also unable to get a prescription and the response time can take over a week.

Absolutely horrible. So far, for a 10-minute phone call, I've been charged 3 times. I had a specific problem - a rash which I wanted to discuss with a doctor, but instead, I ended up being charged for an annual physical check (!?) without my knowledge or consent (!?) and twice for the consultation. I've been on the phone with them probably 20 times since this absolute bonkers situation happened and it is still not resolved. Do not waste your money on this provider; you'll end up paying more than for an in-person visit.

I needed to talk to MD about a current condition. Using Plushcare it eliminated schedule conflicts, the inconvenience of going to an on-site doctor, and most of all it was so affordable. The time window I had with the doctor he was knowledgeable, efficient beyond assumptions, and caring. My experience was so wonderful I am recommending to friends and family.
