This website is a scam and has unethical billing practices. If you have insurance they will take you to a page where they quote the price. Plot twist, they actually take you to a scheduling page and imply your insurance will cover the visit. If you are unlucky enough to have insurance that Plushcare doesn't take, they will charge you TWICE the amount of a cash pay client and you will end up owing more than you would if you lied and said you were cash pay. Avoid at all cost.

I was really hopeful about PlushCare helping me on my weight loss journey. The initial scheduling of my appointment with a doctor and the visit were easy and I liked my experience with Dr. Treadwell. She was helpful and knowledgeable and I was excited to move forward. The first issue arised when I received the order for the lab work. Dr. Treadwell mentioned that these labs would require me to fast but the paperwork didn't mention that. I followed up twice via the app to confirm the fasting requirement, first with a patient care representative and then I messaged Dr. Treadwell. Neither responded. The second issue was the fee I was charged for the initial consultation with Dr. Treadwell. Your website indicated that charges would vary depending on the provider with insurance, but the cost without insurance would be $129 for a new visit. My insurance was billed more than $200 and I paid $187.04 OUT OF POCKET for my first visit which would have been $50 through traditional care methods. The third and most frustrating issue was when I scheduled an appointment for the labs. I scheduled online, fasted for the day and showed up for my 3:30pm appointment at Sonoran Quest. I was told they don't do biometric screenings at that location and that I'd have to go to a different facility. I don't have a Sonoran Quest Labs near me so driving to this facility was out of the way and I was told to contact a different location on "5th & Alvernon" and given a piece of paper with the addresses and phone numbers of the other facilities. I called the 5th & Alvernon location and the phone number was disconnected. I decided I would give Plushcare a call on 5/2, as I was typing this review a representative called me back (I selected the option to have someone return my call) and I explained what happened, the charge for my initial visit and requested a refund. She asked if she could put me on hold to verify why I was charged the amount I was, I said yes and the call was disconnected. Still waiting for her to call me back as I'm submitting this review. Plushcare has been a waste of my time and resources and I do not recommend this service.

Had my first appointment scheduled at 0 600. Doctor didn’t show up till 06 15. The whole session lasted about 15 seconds and then she lost reception and I never heard back. So I went on to call the main line sat on hold for 16 minutes. They rescheduled me another appointment at 0800. I waited till 08 20 the doctor never showed up. I think that’s enough effort for my part. This is my experience and I could’ve been any worse.

Beware that this site works like a SCAM; the doctors don’t treat most conditions and have no training nor knowledge of the brain or matters of mental health. Forgive me as my experience is a bit long, I just wanted to give some background to help others understand. I had quit vaping due to fears of developing complications later on in life; sadly this sent me into full blown psychosis despite many doctors displaying ignorance of this issue. I had rage episodes several times a day, depression, low patience, no motivation and was desperately seeking some help from a mental health provider. These are all classic symptoms of low dopamine/noneprinehrine levels; which is simple enough that even the most uneducated individual can find this information from a simple google search where many medical studies show this to be the cause. I had hope that perhaps I could receive care as I already had knowledge of what treatment I needed to receive. Sadly I thought I’d give PlushCare a try; I scheduled to see Dr. Beth Familant within an hour or so. I explained my symptoms in detail, even explaining why dopamine medications would be the best course of treatment as serotonin medications only worsened my condition - yet most doctors prefer to use these as they receive benefits from these companies. She made excuses as to why she would not treat me; blaming the lack of treatment on my symptoms. It’s like telling someone with cancer that you won’t give them chemo because they feel fatigued (common symptom of cancer). She refused to offer any support or treatment. I finally could not take these symptoms any longer and went to the emergency room; I met with a qualified doctor who was educated and resourceful. He actually listened to my concerns and prescribed me the proper medication; a dopamine and noneprinehrine agonist (increasing dopamine & noneprinehrine levels). Within the first day I began to see relief of my symptoms as I had previously predicted. Not everyone is meant to be a doctor; save your money.
