Be Careful With Plush Care Ads
Before you make an appointment with Plush Care be sure to check to see if your insurance is in network. I found an ad from Plush Care on weight loss claiming 100% satisfaction guaranteed. When I made my appointment the website DID NOT flag my insurance as out of network. I paid the initial $129 plus an automatic membership fee sign-up (30-day trial) when I scheduled my appointment. The doctor was friendly but no advice or script was given except to get blood work done. Since I already had blood work completed but waiting on the results the doctor told me to reschedule once I received them. When I went back to schedule my second appointment I was told I was out of network and would need to pay $129 for every visit. I then canceled the monthly membership and requested my initial payment back. Plush Care said services rendered so no refund. I do understand that I did have a call with the doctor but I don't agree with the services rendered. What service???? She took personal information and that's it. They are running ads for weight loss to bring in more business but when you're on weight-loss meds you're required to see the doctor every month. So unless you have the budget for $129 per visit every month plus the monthly membership of $17 and the cost of the medication... I'd look elsewhere.
