I have owned two pitboss grills. Both were registered. The control boards on both went out within 2 seasons. When I called to get new control boards, their customer service department did nothing to help. They wanted to charge 135 dollars for a new one. This will be the last one I will ever purchase.

Overall these smokers are pretty good, but if you are looking for one with “reliable” wi-fi or Bluetooth connectivity, FIND ANOTHER BRAND! And the customer service on these products are pathetic!

I have the Laredo 1000 it cooks ok but the probes are so inaccurate doesn’t maintain temp well I got rid of a rec teq grill that worked perfect to get this pile of crap because of bigger

Customer service were very responsive and helpful to start. The grill itself has been broken as much as it has worked. Now they are ignoring my emails. I wouldn’t buy pitboss again

Bought a $1500 bbq /smoker worst packaging even was damaged in alit of areas cover was missing,called pit boss they told me no warranty and just paint it!!!wow all I gotta say will never buy pit boss again ,this was my third one and last!

If I could give zero stars I would . Damn near impossible to assemble . Whoever designed this garbage should be smacked upside the head . Waste of $500

Absolute worst warranty and customer service I’ve ever experienced! I purchased a cabinet smoker for around $500 in August, 2024. In November, the ignition stopped working. After calling PitBoss, they sent me a replacement ignition switch with instructions on how to change the part. I was unable to get to the switch, as it appears to be on the bottom somewhere under all the coverings. I stripped several screws trying to access the switch. I finally threw my hands up and said this is impossible! I called back, letting them know the problem I was having and they said I have to go back to Lowe’s for additional support or request a return authorization. I spent a great deal of time with Lowe’s trying to get a return authorization, but PitBoss never cared to respond to the manager’s request. *BUYER BE-WARE”!! PITBOSS HAS A “LIMITED” WARRANTY THAT ONLY COVERS PARTS! THEY WILL NOT REPARE OR REPLACE THE UNIT FOR YOU! If you want a smoker, but also want quality service and a REAL warranty, shop Traeger! Do yourself a favor and do business with a company that cares about its customers and not just profit margins!!
