Want to say I researched the problems I had with my pittboss before calling customer service and replaced the ignition rod and temperature control rod. Heard great things about the customer service on the website but what I got was a different experience. Lady that answered the call was immediately rude and wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying then wanted to face time and say” owe right away I see the problem” says my grill was dirty and that’s why my temp wasn’t regulating. Explained to her I replaced the temp regulator and ignition rod and insisted the problem was the cleanliness of the grill. I vacuumed the entire thing before I started and scrapped everything! So I got no resolution and still have temp problems. Pretty upset at the customer service I received tbh. Didn’t event listen to me at all.

I called them to diagnos a part. We figured out that I needed a new wiring harness. The lady areana told me they would do it as a one time courtesy deal which I was very grateful for. Told me they had them in stock and placed on order. Fast forward over a week later a few phone calls figuring out where it was and today they told me they don’t have them. Didn’t get an email or a phone call tell me this so I’ve been waiting. They hung up on me as I was getting upset with all this as I don’t want to be replacing it in the cold. I think they are great company but lack customer service at times.

I purchased a Pit Boss Austin XL 1000 Wood Pellet Grill on 7 July 2026 and received it on 8 July 2026. After only four uses, the grill started shutting itself off and stopped working properly. I contacted the retailer where I purchased the grill and was then directed to Pit Boss Support. After waiting more than three months, a replacement part was finally sent. Unfortunately, the replacement part did not fix the problem, and the grill remains unusable. It is now 17 October 2026, more than three months after reporting the fault, and I am still left with a product that does not work. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the product and the level of customer service I have received. A premium pellet grill should not fail after such a short period of ownership, and customers should not have to wait months for a resolution. What should have been a straightforward warranty claim has turned into an unnecessarily long and frustrating experience. At this point, I have completely lost confidence in both the product and the support provided by Pit Boss. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this grill to anyone considering a purchase. My Pit Boss Austin XL 1000 is currently worth more as scrap metal than it is as a barbecue. Would I recommend Pit Boss? Absolutely not. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I ordered a part for my Pit Boss days ago and have not heard anything. So I call this afternoon and the girl tells me it’s “pending” so it could be 14 days before I hear anything. No one told me that when I called to order it. The girl’s attitude was very rude and disrespectful like basically if I wasn’t happy to go buy something else. I love my Pit Boss but given the attitude I just received,, a Traeger is looking better and better!!

⭐ 1-Star Review Absolutely disgusted with the quality of this Pit Boss grill. I was simply moving the grill when the entire thing started falling apart. The legs/frame gave way and the grill nearly collapsed. This wasn’t being abused, dropped, or mishandled—it was being moved like a grill with wheels is supposed to be moved. For a grill this heavy, the stand and mounting points should be engineered to safely support it during normal use and movement. Instead, I ended up having to prop the grill up with a piece of lumber just to keep it from falling over, as the photos clearly show. I expected a lot better from Pit Boss. A grill shouldn’t become a safety hazard simply because you move it. Extremely disappointing build quality, and I would think twice before buying another Pit Boss product. Their review won’t let me upload pictures of their product.

Dreadful customer service, took over three months to reply to my queries about damaged components and basically ignored half the problems. Wouldn’t buy from them again, suggest finding a company that is bothered about customers

My recently purchased Pit Boss smoker model PB700DX hasn’t worked properly since I purchased it. The smoker would show 165* and it would stall. The inside of the smoker was actually over 350*. I called customer service and they sent me RTD/temp sensor which I had to take the unit apart to replace. It did not fix the problem. I called them back and they said it need a new controller board and they would ship it to me. I even received a email saying my order was being processed. Weeks went by and I called them back and they told me that it was in stock and would be shipped soon. Now two weeks later and I still haven’t received my control board. Called them again and got nothing but excuses and that I was not using the smoker properly. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend buying any Pit Boss product if this is the way they treat their customers. Be warned it’s an inferior product with no customer service.

⭐ 1/5 — Very Disappointed With Pit Boss Parts Shipping I ordered replacement parts for my Pit Boss grill on September 7. It is now September 14, a full week later, and my order STILL has not even shipped. I understand shipping itself can take time, but waiting an entire week just for an order to leave the warehouse is ridiculous—especially when these are replacement parts needed to get my grill working again. I expected much better service from a company as big as Pit Boss. At the very least, customers should receive reasonable processing times and clear updates about delays. Right now I’m stuck with a grill I can’t properly use and parts that apparently haven’t even left the warehouse. Very frustrating experience. Pit Boss needs to improve its parts fulfillment and communication with customers.
