PillPack absolutely sucks! I don't know why Amazon even bothered to buy them. Their shipments do not arrive on time and it is almost impossible to make changes to medications or doctors without having to contact them at least 5 times. I already have a full time job, but with Pillpack I feel like I have two due to all the time that I have to waste trying to get them to correct all their mistakes. The people I have spoke with on the phone have been very nice, but the company is completely incompetent at fulfilling their core mission; Hassle free prescription service. Whoever the Chief Operating Officer is for this company, that person should be fired!

Don’t waste your money.
Not as advertised. Ended with 5 bottles, punch packs, and only 3 in a package. Price 3 times my local pharmacy and took 6 weeks to hear it was shipped. No way to cancel on line.

This company needs to get it's crap together
This company needs to get it's crap together before promising people something like this. They do not have the medication available for their customers. Sounds like a moot point here. Re-do please.

You're limited to a 30-day supply
You're limited to a 30-day supply. They charged $44 dollars for a medication that I can get at CVS Pharmacy for $33 for a 90 day supply. They could care less about you as a customer.

First month's shipment OK
First month's shipment OK, but they left off one med that they said I had to wait for it because it had already been filled by my previous pharmacy, and my insurance wouldn't cover it. But it was Mag-Oxide 400mg, which is also available as OTC (non-prescription). I asked why they didn't just include it as an OTC instead of prescription med, and the answer seemed to be they didn't think of that, and simply excluded it. So for the first month, I'm taking pills from the new PillPack and my old container twice a day (yet really didn't need to do this). Hopefully next month this will be fixed, but based on other comments here, I'm not optimistic.
But that was a minor problem. Major problem is the 'dispenser' that they overcharge for. It's a flimsy plastic box. Everyday, twice a day, I struggle with it. If you don't line up the package exactly at the edge, it won't tear off. Pulling too hard causes the flaps to collapse and fall in the box, then you have to spend a few minutes rebuilding the dispenser from scratch. After using the dispenser about 2 dozen times now, I'd say it 'dispensed' easily only once or twice. The other 20+ times it was a terrible struggle using it -- flaps falling off, not tearing the pack when it should, the pack falling back into the dispenser. Today I tore the PillPack too high up above the perforation line, and it tore the pill pack in half, causing some of the pills to go flaying across the room, and the rest falling down loosely into the bottom of the dispenser. It took 5 minutes to find all my pills and collect them all. Not much of a time saver. Seems like the the dispenser was designed by a 2nd grade class as an elementary school design project... and the team that made the dispenser wasn't even the design winner. Even if they gave away this dispenser, it wouldn't be worth it -- it causes more headaches than it helps. i can't believe this is Amazon branded...hope it's not the future of all things Amazon.

This is supposed to be Amazon
This is supposed to be Amazon, I thought it would be convenient - au contrare!! I have to call them every four weeks because they screw the SAME THING up every time. My prescription is a 28 day supply and they insist on sending it once a month - that doesn't work. Sometimes they just don't send the prescription at all. They seem confused, they fix it one month only to have the same problem the next month. One time they told me they didn't send me my prescription because it needed to be refrigerated - it's a transdermal patch!! Ugh. I'm done with these folks. Good luck.

What a great concept but a nightmare to…
I have to update my experience as it is finally set up and working great. Once you get pillpack up and running, it is a great system to have for an elderly person. Read below to know what it is like to get started. What a great concept but a nightmare to set up for an elderly person with early signs of dementia. The first 3 shipments arrived missing pills because previous pharmacy had filled them but we didn’t get notification from pill pack that they weren’t all coming. Hours have been spent on the phone after each shipment with the Dr., previous pharmacy and pill pack and they still send shorted supplies. Just do me a favor and call me BEFORE you ship if you aren’t sending everything on the list you show you are sending online. So now patient cuts open every pack and takes pills from both bottle and pack. Confusing for dementia patient. Defeats the purpose. Each month it states correct shipment is coming but it arrives minus pills. Every month pill pack confirms this order will be perfect but never is. FRUSTRATING!!!!

Great concept, HORRIBLE EXECUTION
Great concept, HORRIBLE personnel, different information depending on person you’re talking to. I’ve given them 6 months & not one month has been correct, spent multiple hours every month on the phone with them. Switched to them to save time & ended up wasting huge amounts of time. If you want stress, frustration & constant errors, sign up with pillpack.
