Amazon pharmacy isn't reliable. The marketing on their site says pharmacist will review within 24 hours and that same-day delivery is available in my city. I had an urgent medication prescribed on a Friday morning and delivery wasn't available until a full 5 1/2 days later. Amazon had already reviewed and delivered the same medication a month prior, and it wasn't a supply chain issue. When I contacted customer service 48 hours after the prescription was sent to them, they told me they don't do any reviews or delivery packaging over the weekend so prescriptions sent in on a Friday can't be delivered until Tuesday. False marketing.

Maybe try again in a year - hopefully they will have all the issues ironed out by then but it was very disappointing. I do believe they are just overwhelmed - I did have a very nice conversation with someone who did try to help but it has been over 20 days and I need my meds -

Amazon Pharmacy does not care about you. They clearly want to maximize profit and keep lying to the customer. I cannot relay each conversation but they stalled me for three weeks, blaming me for not having correct insurance information. I’m done. Do not switch to Amazon. I still have not gotten my prescription and now I have to go back to CVS.

Absolutely the worst. I'm going without important medicine due to incompetence, negligence, lack of humanity. Choose either one, the point is. If their is actually a pharmacist staffed, they are not trained. Their "customer service" are of minimum help. Actually you'll get more help from your Alexa speakers. I didn't read the reviews before switching. And now I'm trapped in limbo trying to switch back to my previous pharmacy. Hopefully I will get back before I have a major medical crisis. All the horror stories, I do mean Everything you read are absolutely true. Please avoid Amazon, and warn your loved ones.

Do not transfer a prescription. The pharmacy customer service is rude and basically told me, after my Tresiba was not delivered, to find another pharmacy. So I did. After several hours on the phone with my insurance and Amazon Pharmacy. They also will automatically change your prescription to a generic which is a big issue with insulin. Protect yourself and your health; go to a trusted local pharmacy.

I transferred my prescription from Walmart pharmacy to Amazon pharmacy when it had 2 refills left. First, they sent me an empty package with just papers but without pills. It took a lot of time to contact their pharmacy and request a refill. They said that they 'must have check the cameras first'. After several days not hearing form them, I had to contact them again because I couldn't miss the prescription. They sent me a refill eventually. In a month I got a message from my insurance that I may have missed a refill. I contacted Amazon again and they said that I have no refills left. Must not have checked their cameras or what. There's nothing you can do in this situation to get your prescription on time. To request a renewal, I need to book an urgent visit to my doctor, and pay $200+ for the visit. And my doctor doesn't have any available appointments in the nearest time. RESUME: It's not worth the risk to use the amazon pharmacy if it's an important prescription for your health.

It's absolutely the worst company to deal with. They lost my 90-day supply of medication costing me another trip to the doctor and a $225 doctor visit fee to get re-evaluated and a new prescription put in. (Because you can't just tell a doctor it was lost in shipping and magically get a new prescription these days.) And to top it all off they used up 90 days' worth of my prescription benefits so I also have to pay $185 to the local pharmacy to get my pills. $410 out of my pocket for their carelessness. They are so out of touch with reality that it isn't even funny.

Not horrible as far as shipping goes; it’s quick and convenient. The one thing I dislike is that I ask for specific brand(s) of a medication I take, and they send me the brands that I don’t like. The active ingredients in the pills are the same, but the inactive ingredients are not and they cause horrible side effects. They need to let patients leave notes on what brands they prefer.
