You get the convenience of online shopping and home delivery, but at the considerable expense of poor service. The lack of personal contact means you are consigned to the dreary corporate maze.

Cost is a big factor. For example, one prescription at Walgreens is $109 a month. Amazon's current price is $24.95. Delivery is fast and convenient. Refrigerated med is tightly packed in cooling gel, a styrofoam cooler and in a box. I needed assistance directly on the phone with a real person and it was perfect. Very friendly, very helpful, didn't make me feel like I was imposing. I also want to add that my prescriptions are all auto refill, so they do arrive early or on time.

Took 10 days for Epi-pens to arrive. Epi-pens came covered in slime from the cool packs. Not sure how the pack broke open. It took 2 and 1/2 hours to BEGIN the process of getting new epi-pens. BEGIN being the keyword. I was told someone is to call me back before they can resend the medication! This is a life saving, necessary medication. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I will never order through Amazon Pharmacy again- never. UPDATE- As of July 5- we have not received a replacement. Spent countless hours on hold waiting to speak to a supervisor, only to have the phone line disconnected. Finally, I was told that a replacement will be sent. I was given a number to call to get a tracking number for the replacement. No one answers when I call the number for the tracking number. This is a life-saving medication. I do not understand how they can not fulfill their obligation to deliver a paid prescription. This practice has to be illegal. As of today, we have been waiting over a month for the prescription.

This is only beneficial for prescriptions that are not vital. Seems like every prescription sent to Amazon Pharmacy takes 1+ week for them to process, or, you can pay their "discounted rate" to get it now. Spoke to a customer service representative and their response was simply to go pick up my prescription at a local pharmacy in person, because Amazon Pharmacy will not change. I transferred all my prescriptions out and will never use them again.

Their automatic refills get filled before your insurance will pay for them, billing you instead, and they'll refuse to charge it back.

My prescription was lost in transit. I called them to request a replacement. They refused because I don't have any refills available. Of course not - I just refilled it and it was lost. They agree it never made it to my residence but insisted I go to my doctor and request a refill. Additional cost and time for me and they just wash their hands of the issue. Will never fill through them again. I'm not blaming them for UPS losing the RX. But they should send a replacement.

Dangerous Delayed Medication Delivery- I depend on this medication for my health and it is now 3 days past when it was promised. That means I am out of the medication and my health is suffering. This can't be legal...

Had my doctor call in my two 90 day scripts on Wednesday. They were delivered by UPS on Friday. Communication was excellent, website very easy to understand. Pricing AWESOME.
