I ordered flowers for a funeral, their site said the were local florist in Killeen, Texas. The funeral was on 10 Nov., I specifically called them after ordering to make sure the flowers would be delivered on Wed the 9th., the day before. The request was in print and I was assured by the associate that the flowers would be delivered on Wed. NO FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED! I called the customer service number and they gave me an excuse that they were waiting for me to call them to approve a subsitution!? The associate I spoke with never mentioned a subsitution, I never got a call or an email. These people are scammers and I will be reporting them. Wish I had seen these reviews earlier, DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Not really a scam
For those of you panicking that you got scammed (which is exactly what I did after making a purchase & then seeing all these negative reviews in hindsight) I feel inclined to share that my experience was good. I think Patricia's Petals biggest flaw is just that they don't clearly communicate their business model and what to expect, so there ends up being a disconnect (and subsequent mistrust) between them and their consumers (who pick something out from a catalogue or believe them to be local). This is because even though they have a catalogue, they rely on a florist near you to put it together, so, naturally, they're restricted to the options of that local florist, ESPECIALLY for a same day delivery or next day. They can't actually promise what you picked out in the catalogue because they can't know what flower shops near you will have in stock. I can imagine this being a particular issue for large volume orders! Like for funerals, the shop they pick to arrange may have nothing close to what you're looking for. If they could fix their marketing people would likely be much happier. I ordered a sympathy bouquet for my boss whose mom passed away, 90 bucks, the "sweet peace" one from the sympathy category (I tried to add a photo & I'm sorry it ended up as my user photo for this review, no idea how to fix that). Is what she received exactly like the catalogue photo? No: there was no blue bow, it wasn't perfectly sculpted round, the vase was a different shape, and the light blue flowers ended up being a dark navy blue (I actually liked the dark blue better though, they looked more mournful). To be honest? I absolutely loved all the replacements- I liked the final product better than what I had picked out. It was genuinely lovely. My boss got a beautiful arrangement and it was easily 90 dollars in quality. Did it look like the photo in the catalogue I picked out? Again, not really, no. Was it an exceptionally beautiful bouquet of 90 dollar value in the general style I wanted? 100%, 10/10, yes. If this company swapped specific photos for a more vague scenario where maybe you select preferences and there's examples of what might get built, I think it would fix their negative feedback issues. Or even if they shared like - here's what we're going for *catalogue photo* results will vary on your local florist, here are some photos of what our customers have received, or something like that. Either way, not a scam. Areas to improve and things to work on as an online business, absolutely, but scam? No. I do think they're likely an overseas company prioritizing business in the US, but they are STILL driving business to your local florists as a third party.

I'm sorry I can't give them a zero
I'm sorry I can't give them a zero. This place is terrible. They called to tell me they didn't have the pink flowers I requested in the arrangement so I told them they could substitute. The flowers they sent look like something they pulled out of the median of the road. They were wilted and dying. Nothing compared to what I bought. And yes you get free delivery but a $15.99 service fee. I wish I could upload the pictures of what I ordered versus what I received. So pathetic
