I will start by saying the laser works well and so far I am pleased with how it operates. Unfortunately, when I opened the laser there were metal shaving in the grease on the guide rails and in the bottom of the unit. I cleaned them off before starting the machine. When I tried to turn on my laser, it wouldn't turn on. I swapped the power cord that came with the machine with one I had in my shop, and it turned right on. I also had installed the chiller from OMTech and it took a lot of troubleshooting because I had a water error (Installed hoses backwards.) Again, not a huge inconvenience, just wish the instructions were more clear since I have never set up a laser like this before. After about 5 hours of hassle, I had the machine running and ran the test program that game installed on the controller. The laser is great so far, just a few faulty items from the start and very unclear instructions. The customer service will try and help if you need. Honestly, its everything I expected from the product after reading other reviews.

The machine arrived in good shape. Only 1 very basic set up Manuel. Lacks detailed instructions or anything to assist getting its functional. I've purchased a wooden shelf unit with a 26 page instruction Manuel Limited resources available tech line is a not very responsive, face book has been my best resources. I only pray I can complete just 1 project simular to all your online advertisements. A template site would be great, info on the upgraded mother board would be helpful also.

Great equipment and service

Updated: A warranty claim was filed and resolved within 24hrs. Machine continues to perform good. Would buy again. Machine arrived with no major damage to the crate however upon unpacking & setup it was apparent the cover glass (acrylic) was damaged then assembled onto the machine (gouges on both sides of the glass). A warranty claim has been filed so we’ll see how many stars once that is resolved.

Was a fast delivery and delivery guy was top notch. Machine showed up well packaged and perfect out of the crate. So far everything has been top notch and arrived ready to run

After more than four months of troubleshooting and replacing components, we finally gave up and sent our 70 watt CO2 laser back to OMTech. Worst consumer experience of my life!

I’ve had my 50W laser for 4 months, everything still working. Etches nicely on wood, acrylic, powder coat, anodizing, bluing and does well with cermark spay. Over all I love it.

I found this laser by doing alot of research. Good price and awesome quality of laser. Has been operational since we purchased it.
