I got the initial set-up problem for my laser purchased from omtech. I sent many emails to your support email. But I always get the auto-reply. Is your customer service is done by robots? I have to say your after-service is shitttt!

Misleading Images & False Claims is why I returned this laser. The raster etching was nowhere near their SPECS claim of 2,540 dpi! I would say more like 200-300 at best if your speed sits around 250 mm/sec. Review any high end $5K+ (non-Chinese) laser and it only details 500-600 dpi. So, OM Techs resolution way under performs. The wood engraving sales images are really captivating. But, the 50 watt laser I purchased would not do anything close to that. Very misleading and disappointing. You get inconsistent / burnt raster etching especially when the laser slowed down around the corners of a job. I was not able to etch something I felt good about selling. The price is great but not worth it. I recommend you save your money and buy a US made machine.

Bought a 4063 150W laser from them. 7/25/22...Item went on sale 5 days later (meanwhile I didn't receive my unit until a few days ago 8/11/22. I asked nicely to have it adjusted especially considering I hadn't received my product until 2+ weeks later after the order date. Was told a 50 dollar gift card and not happening. I guess dropping 10,000 dollars for a single machine through the company means nothing. I'd have been positively reviewing you for the machine otherwise.

Received my AF2440 two weeks ago Friday. Was pleasantly surprised that the laser tube was already mounted in its position. Took the day to get it set up in the position that I wanted and then did the initial turn on and exploring. I am quite happy with the tool and the accessories that I purchased. Only one area of concern for me was when I initially opened the laser tube compartment, there was a single layer of clear packing tape running the length of the laser tube. Not sure why this was there and it was a bit of a bugger to remove and during the process it lifted the factory tag from the laser tube. We used a bit of rubbing alcohol to clear the adhesive residue from the laser tube. Other that that one item everything was excellent. I am well satisfied with my purchase from omtech.

Very little help for my tech problem, answers have now taken a whole week, and now I’m apparently going to have to find a way to package up this whole machine and return it? This is hours of work and new supplies to return it so I’m losing money and now time with my machine. So far very unhappy.

As of right now I am very upset and irritated with the whole experience with OMtech. First off, we ordered a machine from them, got the tracking number and it was suppose to arrive within 7 days. Our driveway is really steep so we opted to pick it up at the freight shipping company. We go to pick it up and it is no where to be found. Come to find out, the laser was still in California and had never been picked up for shipping. So, I was on the phone with them and they reshipped it. Finally got to pick it up another week later and set it up. Worked flawless until last night. I was cutting two identical shapes side by side and it cut one out great, but wouldn't cut the other one out. Checked and cleaned all the mirrors and lens. Wasn't that. Checked the beam alignment. Wasn't that. Tested a bunch of different power settings and speeds. Nothing helped. It's like it has lost power. I called technical support today. The guy said ok can you email me some pics so I can see what you are talking about and I will talk to my boss and give you a call back in a few minutes. I sent the pics. Never received a call back. I finally call several times and finally got someone to transfer me to tech support. Same guy says I told you to send me some pics. I say, I did send them at 12:55. Then he finally finds them. (This was hours later of waiting for him to call me back.) He says oh ok I see what you are talking about. Let me talk to my boss because he's on the other line right now. I won't take any other calls I promise. I will get back with you in 10-15 mins. Well that's been over an hour ago. Sorry for the long rant but there is no reason I shouldn't be getting good technical support on a brand new machine that hasn't even been running for a week. And I am losing money that I could be making with the machine on top of that. Its really putting a bad taste in my mouth with this company.

Bought the 80W with autofocus. Everything worked with some minor adjustments of the mirrors. I've been using lasers for 3 years and this on was worth it!

Bought the 150watt auto focus. Since this was our first laser we had a lot of learning, but we love it! OMtech has answered all my questions very well.
