Have a 60w Red and Black pretty good machine. I will say the owners manual is not 100% applicable to this machine. For example, The lense and laser head is NOT the one you see in the manual or on the youtube videos for cleaning. This machine has a laser head in the same style as the thunder, with a tool needed to unscrew the lense securing nut. The manufacture did however provide a tool on the key ring for this, just did not know what it was for initally. Overall happy, but wish the manual was more up to date for these newer models.

Recently ordered two used (CPO I guess?) lasers from OMTECH. I had seen them advertised a few places, and in quite a few maker/hobby laser and engraving youtube channels. After a ton of research, I ordered a 50W fiber GALVO and a 50W POLAR desktop unit. Both were in the used section, but came with a warranty and appeared to be the laser equivalent of "certified pre-owned". The POLAR, despite being listed as only in "good" condition, arrived packaged and foamed up as if it was completely new, with only a single burn mark on the debris tray from what I assume was test cuts done by OMTECH (it came with acrylic measuring rulers and a block of material with engraving tests). I absolutely could not have told you it had been previously used based on its appearance. The fiber unit arrived a bit more jostled up, but after some minor adjustment to the offsets and gantry position, it worked flawlessly. Literally the only complaint is that the safety glasses that came with the fiber unit were scuffed and in poor condition. I planned on getting my own anyway, so its hardly even worth mentioning. Totally satisfied with my experience. If I am in the market for another laser in the future OMTECH will absolutely be my first stop to check.

So far, so good. Received my Polar 3 weeks earlier than expected. Just unboxed it today and I'm so impressed with how sleek and beautiful it is. I can't wait to use it. I think the only thing lacking is, more images in the instructions. Its very wordy. I cant review how its working at this time, but looking forward to digging in.

I honestly can't think of a company or vendor that has ever been this responsive and helpful. The zoom sessions are downright novel and extremely helpful. A malfunctioning part was noted and a replacement sent out immediately. Great service.

I had a setup issue with the rotary attachment for my 80w laser and the help line techs worked with me until we got it figured out. They were quick to respond and answered my emails even in off hours. Great team.

Customer service is great.

I am having a wonderful experience with OMTech so far. I ordered the wrong part and gave them an email. Within two days I was emailed to return the part and was told a full refund was heading my way. As soon as the part was received I could purchase the right one.

Just over a week old and the Laser disconnects, and the controller resets itself randomly, I'm currently waiting on a new motherboard.
