The door I ordered is beautiful, more thanI hoped for. I'm very happy with the quality & beauty of it.

I found everything I needed about my new door online and spoke to 2 people at Nicks who were extremely helpful. They were able to answer all my questions and made the ordering process very easy. The door was delivered right on schedule and was beautifully made. I checked a number of other suppliers and Nicks price was the best. Good price, great quality , on time delivery and friendly people to work with, I'm not sure things could have been any better. Thank you for an enjoyable process and a product I will be proud to show off for years to come

Timeframe was too long.

The door is exactly as described in the order. We had to add a 1x4 to extend the moulding for brick, which we had asked for but did not receive. However, the quality of the final product was excellent. The shipping crate was secure and solid. Only issue was we were quoted a 6 week wait time and because of a glass sourcing or stocking issue, the time ran over 8 weeks. Would have appreciated a discount on the final payment for havin to wait so long, but none was offered. Overall, great product and customer service.

I ordered my door and was told it would be 3 1/2 weeks to get. After 4 weeks, I called and then was told they were busy and they would to get to it. Finally it took over 6 weeks to get. Then when it arrived it was the wrong swing. So I called and sent pictures to the customer service dept, this time the customer service rep was very nice and said he will get a new door out possibly the same week, or next. So I will wait to see when it does come as he said. So in the end I will now have waited 7 or 8 weeks to get the door and is costing me more money to keep reschueduling my contractor. I wish companies could understand the impact they have on their customers.

Used Nicks for two entry garage doors for my new garage. Doors took 4 weeks longer than quoted but when they did arrive they looked beautiful and felt as sturdy and nice as the 100 year old mahogany doors currently on my home. I was satisfied until approximately 4 years later when the bottom of both doors rotted out by the seam in the exact same spot although they are on opposite sides of the garage. Replaced both doors with Simpson doors and haven't had an issue three years later. Keep I'm mind that these doors are solid wood but they are partial board cores that litter all resolve when water gets in the door through a crack or unsealed portion of the door. If you have a damp or wet entry these are not the door you want cause you will buy another door in a few years.

Nick's Building does horrible work and lie about the lead time. I would have rather spent a little more money else where and received a better built and finished product then what I received from Nick's. The customer service people at Nick's are as clueless as the people building the doors and the owners. They advertise made in the USA but my doors arrived and said made in China. Maybe they meant assembled in the USA. False advertising.

We ordered from Nick's because we were told we would have our door in 3 to 4 weeks. It took over 2 months to get our door. Service was disappointing!
