They take your money then fail to deliver. Customer service is non existent.

One star is far too generous. So called customer service is non-existent. They don’t answer the phone or my emails. Unbelievable that a brand like National Geographic is shockingly so bad. The Rocks and Minerals subscription was for my grandson whom has naturally been left very disappointed. It’s incredibly poor that the delivery of the publication is nonexistent and even worse they do not reply to any customer complaints. Someone at National Geographic needs to take responsibility NOW 😡

Absolute disgrace. They have taken over £60 for the rocks and minerals magazines. I subscribed for my grandson and we have only received 3 issues, to the value of £11. Customer Service is non existent! I should have known by the terrible sign up website.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I live abroad and only two issues arrived on time. Almost every month I had to contact customer service to get the replacement because they simply didn't bother to send me anything. They DO NOT care about their customers at all.

Follow up - I emailed the CEO and within 48 hours the issues with my account were resolved and with the desire expressed that they aim to do better. A good resolution. Without a doubt the worst customer service of all time. Password issues for weeks on end with no ability to access website nor any communication nor refund for lost services. If you email customer service to the National Geographic Customer Service email they simply just do not respond -- I am on my last and final attempt to resolve ongoing password issues and an inability to access archives despite having paid the subscription fee. If only the service and customer care could be as nice as the pictures in the magazine but then again I cannot access them so maybe they are on par.

BEWARE! National Geographic will put an automatic renewal on your card. They did send me an email warning me but then took the payment on the same day! I have been promised a refund but the person I spoke to also hung up on me so I will have to wait and see if the refund comes through. Disgraceful.

Utterly disenchanted with your client service regarding a paid for gift subscription to your magazine. Our family has been loyal subscribers though 4 generations as early as from1939 to date, here in South Africa. Sad to say this has come to an indefinate halt. Our escalations on a supposed to be gift subscription has now dragged itself to the 2 year bench mark, to name a few; Vuyo, Aysha in your RSA call centre office straight through to the Netherlands. Our issue was escalated to Robert Baarslag, Cathleen Chambers was also involved in this 2 year battle to get National Geographic to honour the paid-for gift subscription. To date nothing but empty promises or the second degree..There are no words to describe our disappointment in your magazine's representatives..and the poor service conveyed through this unsavoury 2 year fiasco of a supposed subscription ..For an organisation of your calibre you should be ashamed in how you treat your loyal subscribers. We as family for one will never recommend your publications, ever... o.b.o. Disappointed members..
