The magazine is definitively worth it, but there have been some problems regarding missing issues. Nevertheless, the customer services has kindly and supportive staff, and the attention was great. I hope that form now on will receive the magazine without further problems

With an international account it is hard to change the e-mail address. Within the web account administration it is not possible to change the e-mail address. I needed two e-mails to the support to suceed to find the proper way. a new account is therefore necessary! The process ist according to this: 1. Go to ngm external administration hompage 2. Click Create an Account Now 3. Enter your new email 4. Click to receive a verification code by email to activate your account. 5. Enter the verification code and then proceed to set up a password 6. Later You may need to add the subscription from the old account too.

Contents: Very good, educational and worthwhile to read. Subscription: Suddenly stopped without any reason. They say life confirmation letter was sent to me, but it did not alive. There is no backup system to that kind of failure. Support: Very good. The recovery from above incident was treated quickly. Responses were professional.

Hello, the Mail you mention I did. never receive. Wy do I have to wait until July to get the next Magazine. In this case I miss almost 1 Year. Best regards Hanspeter Bohli

I like national geographics. I haven't had a subscription for a while and wanted to try the digital version. The service is terrible. Initially I was able to access the site with my iPad but not my laptop. Now I can't use either. I can log in but the account needs to be linked to a Disney account (not sure why since I created a national geographics account). I created a Disney account but it won't allow me to link (says it's already linked to another account. Customer service so far has not helped. The chat is only if you want to subscribe and the email help was no help at all. Next I'll try to call them (only available during certain hours). Not looking good at the moment. This is a ridiculous system. You need multiple accounts for one subscription. I got in touch with someone over the phone and the issue was that while I had a login @gmail, my account login associated with the subscription was @google.com (person on the phone was very courteous and helpful). Not sure what happen or why I was able to login with my @gmail account (just with no subscription). National geographics is great but you need to create a Disney account first then get the subscription if you get the subscription first it asks you to create a Nat Geo account but then you still need to create a Disney account. Not sure if I made the mistake or if it defaulted to @google.com somehow. They really should make this easier, and the chat should have been allowed to help with this (they only manage subscriptions not account access). I would have given 4 starts otherwise

I have had a digital subscription since September 2024. For a couple months now, I have been able to sign on to the site, but not read any articles. Apparently, there is a problem with the Disney+ link for digital only subscribers. I finally decided to get this fixed, which led to a frustrating two days. Online help is nice, but doesn't support digital only customers, phone call claims I called outside business hours despite being well within the range stated on the message. (I found help independently via Google, and was able to get things working *once* by deleting site cache and cookies, but not a second time.) The articles are really interesting and the photos gorgeous, but it's just not worth the hassle! --- Update: Nat Geo did get hold of me -- they had me clear the cache again but also give it 24 hours. I was dubious, but it did work and now I am logging in w/ Disney+ and happily reading the articles. I added two stars because they got it fixed, but not all the way because it was so difficult to get help.

There are a few issues I have: first of all when I joined in 1996 I joined the NGS, now I find I have to accept the Disney ULA which applies to all potential interactions with Disney and their subsidiaries, I find this entanglement disturbing. On that note I moved and had to get my address changed, online change would be easiest. But getting through the system didn't work for me, until I contacted the helpdesk. The helpdesk did fix the address change, but it will take two months for the change to become effective, which is in line with the statement on the paperwrapper, so no complaint there. In conclusion got my issue fixed? It looks like it did, but I will find out. The whole Disney entanglement thing: will never get fixed. Consumer rights in the States for non-US citizens are non-existent, and I would have to take it to the ECJ. I will leave that for Max Krems as he has the relevant experience to do so. Also given the current political climate in the US translates to non-US consumers being up ****creek. I just suppose I have to accept my role as easy moneybag.

I tune into Nat Geo programming for educational shows like Dr Pol. By the way, I just learned your canceling his program! Why? Why? Why? When he and his team are so wonderful on the show and we learn so much. We enjoy the Family unity the show exhibits. The family unit is not just the customers but how the team works together. Never a cross word is spoken, customers love them, the vets and techs are awesome! Please re-think this decision.
