I recently completed the publication of my first book, *Who Are You To You: A Quiet Search for Self-Discovery*, with Capital Book Publications, and overall, I am very pleased with the experience and grateful to finally see my book published. My original point of contact was Stephen Collins, who was excellent to work with and helped get the process started on a very positive note. When the project transitioned to Anna and her team, the handoff was seamless. Anna has been consistently professional, patient, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. As a first-time author, I had many questions, revisions, and concerns along the way, and I especially appreciated the quick turnaround on edits and the willingness of the team to address my questions with patience and care. One thing I would encourage prospective authors to do is take the time to carefully compare the different publishing packages available and make sure the package they select aligns with what they hope to accomplish with their book. Additional services and opportunities may also be presented throughout the publishing process, depending on your goals, and those can involve additional costs. In my experience, these were optional. For any first-time author, I think it is simply helpful to ask questions, explore the available options, and have a clear sense of both your publishing goals and budget as the process moves forward. Overall, I am very happy to have reached publication and very appreciative of both Stephen and Anna for the professionalism, patience, and support they provided throughout the journey. Bringing a book to life is exciting, emotional, and sometimes demanding, and having responsive people guiding the process made a meaningful difference for me. Thank you Stephen and Anna and your teams!

Stellar service, polite, helpful and professionally, caring and on time. Anna Smith and her team were terrific. The charges were minimal and I am quite satisfied. They did a splendid job with the writing help, the editing, the publication on major platforms. I most likely will have Capital Book Publishing do my next book as well.

My own formatting wasn’t cutting it. Capital Book Publications’ Leanne sorted everything in 48 hours. Some back-and-forth on publishing but worth it .

I had a great experience working with Capital Books! It was an easygoing process. I had a vision and they listened to me, everything from the editing process to the creation of the cover. I was the boss and they listened. Anna Smith in particular was very helpful. She not only listened to my concerns but she also followed through. I didn’t have to chase her down and ask her about anything. Anna delivered on everything and I am extraordinarily pleased with the finished product. Anna Smith & Capital Books helped me see my dream through to fruition. Highly recommend them for your self-publishing needs!

They were helpful with a lot of things, as far as creating the cover went, I felt I had to do a lot of the editing myself because of the back and forth, and deadline I felt it was just easier to do, and whenever I got it back things were taken out, due to page constraints from what they told me, and unnecessarily messed up, and I was also on a deadline. Even on the cover I didn't get exactly what I wanted but I was happy with it. (I wanted a holo cover but I think to get my spoiled ass the cover I want I need to talk to someone, then I'm a up-charge the hell out of it.) (Special Edition Cover on the way. XD), but I feel a lot of their services are up-charged like hell, I didn't use anything but I guess a basic package which was like 350$ or around that. I feel for the work that was done If I had paid 100 bucks less I'd say it'd be worth it, but since I had to do the editing myself feel like I paid to much. Though I did get a stylized title page with pointy letters so they get points for that. they also set up the books format and the amazon account for me, though I had one already created, I feel like they made it better so bonus points for that. Kinda dangerous to do that but I still have access to everything so I wouldn't worry bout it if you do. All in all they did a good job, but there are things that I feel they need to work on to be better. That's all from me.
