Purchased a gift subscription in April, one month before my friend's birthday, in the hope that the first issue would arrive on time. Upon purchase, the confirmation stated that the first issue would arrive within 4-6 weeks, however it has now been over 10 weeks. Have just called customer services and was told that they are in the process of upgrading their system so cannot access details of anyone's account and could not give any help whatsoever. Extremely disappointing and will never be purchasing a Nat Geo subscription again.

Paid by DD in Feb and still no magazine. I started trying to renew the subscription to Nat Geo Kids in Dec. It was Feb before I got to speak to someone. Phone number no longer active and new number elusive. Lots of excuses about new company taking over and to avoid problems again ( there were problems every year) I set up a direct debit. No magazines arrived. No telephone number on the website. After using the online ticket system for enquiries, but receiving no answer I resorted to emailing the head office in US and the emails addresses for other departments such as the editor and media. I received 2 repliesand now have another number for the company. 0333 577 7272. I have spoken to someone who is looking into the matter and waiting for a return call.

I live in Denmark and for the 4th year in af row I've had a one year subscription for National Geographic. This will be the last year. I've not received a single issue without having to call a really useless costumer care located in Holland. I've received all magazines one og to month later so March an April i received in May, June in July and haven't received July yet. The customer care said I should contact the post office. I told her that the magazines come with a private carrier because they same money that one and if she could give me the name of the service but she didn't know anything about that.

I paid £33 and haven't received one magazine. They set it up as a direct debit so that you cant get a refund from your bank and don't answer any emails.What makes it worse is that they are stealing kids money. Save yourself the hassle and buy from the shop.

I have been trying to get a single issue of National Geographic since the middle of May. It is June 26, 2018 and I have still not received the issue although I've been charged for it. They explained that it was shipped on May 31, but does not come first class. Even special rate mail does not take a month to deliver. They refused to send an issue first class, so they will either send the issue again or give me credit. Today I requested that they re-send the issue, so we'll see what happens. Not holding my breath.

Two months and I have not received the single issue I ordered and paid for. Repeated calls, with no service. National Geographic has NO customer service.

JUST AVOID these thieves. there's a reason they have the minimum stars, I paid for a digital edition and they don't have the app for it on Android or Kindle (yes unbelievable I know) and now they won't refund my money. I expected something decent from Nat Geo errr NO you won't get anything and you will NEVER see your money ever again.

National Geo Kids I would give this company zero stars. I purchased a gift subscription at Christmas which included print and digital. One printed copy eventually arrived. The digital did not work and I eventually received a refund for that element. It is now June and despite frequent phone calls and e-mails we have not received any printed copies other than the first one. Promises are made, addresses are verified but nothing arrives. The money is one thing, the disappointment of an 8 year old is far far worse. I have subscribed to Nat Geo without a problem for years but this is really disappointing.. I have since received a full refund and have been advised they have technology problems. Sad as the magazine is very good and they appear to be the only distributor in the UK. I appreciate technology problems can hit anyone but it has gone on far to long. Nat Geo really needs to find a distributor in the UK which can fulfil orders correctly.
