National Geographic MagazineReviews of nationalgeographic.com

I have a Gmail on my phone confirming one yr online and print service, but get blocked when try use it. Am told I never had it. Just read it 2 days ago, got code from nat geo to access it, was prevented from entering code, which then expired. I have Gmail proof I have subscription n get daily notifications from Nat Geo, who is now owned by Disney, not google, so y is google preventing me from my nat geo acct, forgive me, but what business is it of URS?

I was dubious to subscribe after finding so many negative reviews, but I’m now enjoying my third issue which arrived in the post only the other day. Marvellous magazine with an interesting variety of content, not just vague content either. Amazing photography and intriguing pull-out pages, which remind me of encyclopaedia and more traditionally fashioned educational material. The yellow frame is a nice touch too, makes the magazines stand out and instantly recognisable as National Geographic.

I subscribed in November 2020 from Italy. As they say, the first issue (February) arrived 8 weeks later. I had some doubts so I wrote them and they answered a couple of days later. Actually they managed to send me also the January issue that arrived in February. The magazine should be delivered within the first week of the month, but it's not. I don't know if the problem is theirs or it's Poste Italiane's fault. While I'm waiting for the April issue I can read the magazine online, hoping that the paper magazine will arrive soon. Anyway I'm happy with my choice and I'll subscribe again. Last thing: NG is always a great magazine! Intresting topics and amazing photos.

We ordered a National Geographic subscription 3 months ago, but have not received the magazine. Do not fall for these cowboys.

I seem to have exactly the same experience as previously mentioned in numerous reviews here. I paid for a 12-month subscription. The issue that was due to arrive a month ago never arrived. I informed customer support. They said that they had arranged for a replacement copy and I should wait 7-10 days to receive it. 10 days have passed but the issue still did not arrive so I contacted them again. And again they told me that they would arrange the second replacement copy to be sent out to me. A month has passes since then and none of the 3 copies has arrived. I asked for a refund but my request was ignored and no one replied me. A very disappointing experience. I wish I had read the comments here before subscribing. As I paid for something that I never received.

As the comment below from Nick states, I have had the same issue. No March issue sent, charged for another 12 months when I haven't even received my last 12. Ignored my refund requests as well.

I attempted to cancel my subscription numerous times but they were never able to send me a password reset. I had forgotten to cancel the dd via my bank account and as they sent no reminder - they hadn't even sent me a copy for ages - I discovered that they charged me the annual subscription and didn't even answer my request for a refund. Frankly, they operate like crooks. They are totally different to the Nat Geo I used to know...

I hope that others will think twice about getting a subscription to this. Don't! After 3 months and about 6 emails to their customer services I am still waiting for my 1st copy. I was told it was dispatched in one email, only to be told in one two days later it was delayed. Basically they tell you anything put how to get your money back - which I have requested twice now. Appreciate current situation has an impact - but is not an excuse for lies. Steer clear - shame as such a good product - just get it at your newsagent.
