Order a headphone on 3-14-2023, received confirmation that my order was good and payment received. 3-22-2023 I sent an email asking for confirmation of shipping, received and email back stating order will be completed in 24 to 48 hours. 3-27-2023 received notice that headphone are not in stock and my order will be canceled. Then they say another 3-5 business days to refund my money, that they have had since 3-14-2023. Never doing business with them again.

I'm here from a Slickdeals thread regarding the Monitor debacle. I too want to weigh in that Monoprice had for a decade or more been my go to place to shop. I guess the company has changed its direction or...? Regardless, I'm done as a customer. The way they continue to mishandle this issue, which appears to be affecting many, many people is ridiculous. I am also still waiting on my refund. I see some reviews on here from angry people. I can't blame them, but I'm really more sad than angry as MP used to be a stand up company. For a PSA, I think the only people who have gotten refunds promptly, did so from bypassing the MP customer service and filing with their credit card company. Good luck folks!

Edit: (WOW Monoprice.. Wow. They are now applying pressure to TrustPilot via "requesting more information... " IF I don't comply, they will take down my review. So I complied, even though this is a review, not customer service. I would encourage everyone who has been victimized by Monoprice to double check your reviews for a similar threat and post your experience with Monoprice on many different sites as their version of damage control is to suppress, rather than, you know, doing the right thing!) Despite the assurances of the corporate drone they have responding to these, I think it's quite fair to say they are in the practice of stealing peoples money. Nor is it a matter of being quickly attended to. There are countless other victims out there of this scam and it's indicative of much deeper cancer within a company that "Used" to be trustworthy. Monoprice made no effort to hide the fact that they hadn't shipped my monitor and were not going to, but I'm still waiting on my refund since mid-February. I'm not in a position to be able to buy another elsewhere until my money is returned to me, so I've spent a month w/o any. Classy AF Monoprice! Yes, Monoprice DOES steal peoples money!

I was a large business customer with them for many many years and never an issue, then a few years back I got a batch of bad cables. Later that same year another batch of bad cables. Since then I stopped buying Monoprice. However, I broke down this year and bought a few cables and some other "chinese junk" products they sell. They were so bad they were broken before they got here. I complained and over $7 (of a $1500 order) I was put thru the wringer. Multiple emails, pictures, more emails and then they reshipped the product after I told them to refund. I'm finally done with them. Lesson driven home that monoprice now sells junk and their CS is crap

Even when they know they screwed up, they are not proactive! They sent the incorrect item out to a LOT of people yet instead of automatically sending out RMA requests to everyone and refunding the money for their mistake, they sat back and let everyone they screwed over go thru the pain of dealing with their customer service! I've bought a lot of items from Monoprice thru the years but I'm done after this experience. They should own up to their mistakes and make things right!

I would call monoprice a zombie brand at this point. Even worse than Newegg. A Terrible series of me remembering how monoprice used to be has culminated in them actually stealing my money. They did not send me a monitor I purchased. Instead sent me some old phone cable and will not refund my money despite countless contacts to customer support. So I guess my money is held up for however long a Paypal dispute will take. Just shameful

Placed an order on 2/20/23 with invoice #23308841. Have not received any communication from Monoprice, other than the auto-generated response immediately after placing the order. In Monoprice.com's Purchase-Order Agreement (POA), they declare that processing happens within 24h and shipping arrives in 2-4 days within the US. For a company that has consistently high volumes of sales for the last 5+ years, it's unacceptable to see how the operations and customer service have plummeted in the last 2-3 years. Is it time to consider replacing your CEO, Bernard Luthi? Bernard, if you're reading this, I expect better from you. The COO that I loved and admired at Rakuten.com, has allowed operations to be your biggest failure at Monoprice. Monoprice's tunnel-vision on scaling out their sales and marketing team, whilst retracting focus on excellent "Customer Support", "Fulfillment", and "Customer Satisfaction" has reaped one of the worst ratings on Trustpilot across your competitors. It's about time you revisit your Mission Statement, and bring the customer to the forefront.

I don't know where these guys went wrong but this isn't the same company. I ordered 2 items that took about 10 days to receive. When I opened the package they had sent me the wrong things, not even close. I called and told them this was time sensitive and I needed a replacement ASAP since I had contractors waiting. They wouldn't release the new goods until I returned their mistake and then it would be 7 days or so until it was processed. I told them to come and pick up their crap and had Amex dispute the charge. Ordered from Amazon and had my goods the next day. I'm done with Monoprice.
