I'll never go back. They are not as knowledgeable as people may think. They have callous disregard for your time and patience. If you are not skipping through digital wonderland your butt may become meat for the dog. They are well rehearsed in having some fun with a customer. They will pass you around, each time making you explain what the problem is. They have no intention of making things right. Yes, they are the only show in town, and they know it. If you get tired of them wasting your time, beware. Spit wads are loaded. You need them more than they need you. Typical corporation that is simply too big. They let the employees run the company, and they don't like to work.

Winbook sucks waste of time and money

I always find what I need and at a good price. The staff is reasonably knowledgeable, and returns are painless. I'm in NYC which can be a difficult market for any business, but MC knows how to hire the right people - unlike the bigger box guys. Also they have a 5% discount when you pay with their store card.

The extended warranties that they do not cover things like power bricks for your laptop. Warranties do not cover the usual basic things that happen.

Brought in my laptop for a memory upgrade; was in perfect working order as Staples Computer tech had recently (3 days earlier) performed scan; it took 6 weeks to get my laptop back, when I called no one knew the status or ever called me back. Had to agree to a mother board upgrade ($$$) just to get my laptop back !!...NEVER, EVER use this company!!
