Micro CenterReviews of microcenter.com

Micro Center remains the absolute gold standard for PC builders, tech enthusiasts, and makers, offering an in-person shopping experience that online retailers simply cannot replicate. Walking into the store feels like entering a playground of modern hardware, where every aisle is packed with top-tier components, cutting-edge peripherals, 3D printing gear, and hard-to-find electronics. The hardware selection is unmatched, particularly the DIY PC section. Finding current-generation graphics cards, high-end motherboards, custom water-cooling gear, and niche cables all under one roof makes building or upgrading a rig effortless. Their bundled processor and motherboard deals consistently offer some of the best value in the entire industry, saving both time and money compared to piecing together a build across multiple websites. Beyond the inventory, the staff sets Micro Center completely apart. The team on the sales floor genuinely understands system architecture and hardware compatibility. Instead of pushing generic upsells, they provide thoughtful, technical recommendations on everything from power supply overhead to cooler clearances and filament choices. The Knowledge Bar and service department provide reliable diagnostic support, fast component installation, and hassle-free warranty assistance. Factor in the smooth online-order pickup process and a seamless checkout experience, and it is easily the most dependable, high-caliber tech retailer anywhere. Five stars across the board for an unmatched brick-and-mortar tech haven.

I’ve made several purchases from MicroCenter, not a minute’s problem with them. Bought (2) Lenovo laptops, and (2) Ethernet adapters at the same time, one laptop gave the “Blue Screen of Death after only (3) days, and neither adapter functioned. Returned to the store (18) miles away because no direct number listed for my local store. No issues exchanging anything. Bought a replacement hot-end for my 3d printer, and decided to upgrade to a bigger print bed. No issues again with the process. The return of the hot-end was difficult since I couldn’t find my receipt, and wasn’t found on my mobile banking app, but associate “Elizabeth”, did not just say, “we can’t find it in the system”, but enlisted the help of mgr Ms. May, and after approximately 40 minutes, I was walking out with a gift card for the full amount. As of this writing , I’m on my way back to MicroCenter to purchase the Bambu H2C combo with AMS, an APC, (2) spare hot-ends, a few spools of filament and other items.

bought my refurbished Macbook pro 14 inch 2023 M2 with 8TB of storage. i have been using it almost every day with no issues for almost 1 year to the month. if in the future i need something else, the first place i look. is my local Micro Center in Sharonville. I thought the price was good, very good for what is was getting. would i recommend, yes, and i do recommend to anyone saying they are looking for something. everyone i come in contact with are all basically within 30/40 minutes from our Micro Center in Sharonville Ohio. good place to find electronic of any kind

Microcenter is a store with almost EVERYTHING! think about it as a Costco but with electronics. People expect pc building to have manual. but each part is different and there is no one way to do it with each part. cases, motherboards, water cooling or fan cooling, its all different. People cant expect instructions on how to build custom PCs and microcenter staff arn't to blame.

When my laptop wouldn’t turn on, I brought it to Micro Center expecting it might be a battery issue – and I was right. The team quickly diagnosed the problem and got it working again. It was easily the best $80 I’ve ever spent – I had 3 years' worth of research on it. But guess what? I’m not surprised they delivered such great service; Micro Center consistently brings its A-game and remains a reliable resource for the community. Thanks Micro Center.

Great service. Sales person was great his name was Jack. Very helpful understood my concerns and took the right steps to help me.

Micro Center is hands down the best computer store there is. They do everything professionally, never give me bad advice or get anything wrong, and I would recommend them to anyone. The staff here really know their stuff. Whether I'm shopping for components, asking about compatibility, or just picking their brains on a build, they consistently give solid, knowledgeable answers. You can tell these are people who actually live and breathe tech — not just reading off a spec sheet. It makes a huge difference when you're trying to make the right call on a purchase. And if you haven't checked out the Knowledge Bar, you're missing out. It's like having access to a team of techs who can help you troubleshoot, diagnose, and get your gear sorted out right there in the store. That kind of hands-on support is rare these days, and Micro Center delivers it every time. If you're serious about tech and want a shopping experience where the people helping you actually understand what they're talking about, this is the place. Five stars, no question.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! I was going nuts with my new desktop from Microcenter--mainly because of Windows 11. Couldn't find documents, difficulty saving and printing. IAN was the most helpful tech support person ever. Got me back on track. I'm so grateful to him, and the fact that Microcenter gave me tech support for the first year. Thank you, Ian. Thank you, Microcenter.
