I am now the proud owner of four Mia Melon coats! Last winter I had been looking for a winter jacket for quite sometime with no success. I was on Main Street in Vancouver one Sunday afternoon and spotted a small shop called Mia Melon. I went in to have a look and immediately was pleased with the styles, the fit and colours! The first coat I tried on was perfect and the turquoise/teal colour matched my taste. It was the easiest coat purchase I’ve ever made. Almost every time I’ve worn it I’ve gotten compliments. I recently placed an order for raincoats after receiving an email notification of a sale. There were issues receiving the coats which wasn’t a complete surprise to me as so many small businesses have been negatively impacted by Covid19. I contacted the store and I received a call back from Tanya, the owner. Sure enough they have had their challenges due to the pandemic. We had a wonderful conversation. I found Tanya to be sincere and customer service oriented. I was grateful to have had a personal conversation with her (one of the many benefits of shopping in small businesses!) I received my jackets and a complimentary gift days later. Thanks so much Tanya! I will continue to shop Mia Melon because it is a family business and based on exceptional customer service, excellent products, and the integrity of the owners.

What a show of excellence in product! Not to mention customer service too! I’ve bought from this company before but had no interaction with customer service until my recent purchase of the Stella jacket. I needed guidance with sizing and the team let me return the jackets received TWICE until we found the right size. I knew it was worth the wait and I was right! I know this coat will last many adventures! Many thanks to mia melon :)

I found a coat on Instagram, and was slightly nervous to order it because I had never heard of the company. I took a leap of faith because it was so cute. My order status flipped to shipped, but some time went by without tracking info. I did call the number on the website which wasn’t helpful, but they also have a number to text, so I did that and received an answer with all of the pertinent information there. (The website mentions this is the best way to contact them.) The coat arrived shortly after and it is absolutely fabulous! It is even cuter in person, and the quality is so great too! It is actually for our dog, and I was also impressed that the size chart was so accurate as well. She loves it and we do too - happy customers all around!

Buyer Beware......the company should not have a business license......no response from coustomer service until 30 days later....to tell me they are shipped it soon....I wish I read the reviews first.....no integrity.....

Their products are so worth the price. When they say waterproof, they really are. They are also so so stylish, I always get questions on where I purchased mine and my BF's favorite rain jacket. They fit true to size and have never had a problem with sizing. My issue with tracking my shipment was quickly and happily resolved within a couple hours of messaging them. If you ever have any issue their customer service is more than happy to take care of it.

I had a lovely customer service experience with Mia Melon! I ordered two coats one for me and one for my sister and the one for my sister was just a bit too big on her so I had to return. I communicated with Tanya and she was very helpful and responsive. The coat that I got fits me great, is so nice, high quality, unique, and beautiful! I love it and I plan to order many more jackets as gifts, for myself, and for my boyfriend!

Ordered two jackets, a Whitney Rain Jacket and a One Man Alex Coat, was charged straight away and then the fun started, they had oversold the mans jacket but could supply last years model which was a bit roomier??? Okay, I agreed but two months later when coats arrived in separate consignments they had sent two very average looking men’s jackets and no teal blue Whitney jacket. I paid $283.50 US for this order and now no-one is responding to my request to send one of the men’s jackets back and for them to send me the woman's jacket as ordered. 05/09/2021 I am yet to receive my originally ordered Whitney jacket and will be donating the other two to charity not an ideal outcome but at least it’s an outcome, I will update this review once I actually receive the promised jacket 06/24/2021 Still waiting for news that the replacement jacket has been despatched despite numerous emails to owner of Mia Melon simply awful!!

This company has some of the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. First, they charged weeks before anything was shipped. Then there was at least a month's delay in shipping. When I found out the coats are made in a country that does not value human rights, I asked to cancel my order. It took days for someone to answer me. The order was still active 3 weeks later. Once it was actually cancelled, I was told it can take up to 5 weeks for a refund! Outrageous!
