I ordered 2 jackets through Kickstarter back in May 2020. Due to Covid, there were delays. However, Tonya reached out to me via text and I have to say she provided exceptional customer service. Sometimes it took her awhile to get back to me, but she always did, including answering a lot of questions. So I got one of the jackets (Insulated Kendra) February 2021 and it is GORGEOUS! Classy and very warm. I love it. They didn’t have the other one of ordered (insulated Whitney) in stock though and were having problems with the manufacturer... I reached out to Tonya about getting a different jacket and she replied in good time. She was so helpful and polite throughout our text exchange and has confirmed that they will pay for shipping if I don’t like the jacket and have to exchange it. Nothing but good things to say about this company. I’ll be directing people their way and buying more jackets when I need them.

No response from customer service through text, email or phone. Shady return policy. There are many other high quality coat companies. Give your money to a company with integrity- not Mia Melon because they don’t seem to give a rats bottom about their customers’ satisfaction with their sub-par product. Added: you reached out because I told you that I was leaving you a poor review. Other than that, crickets until then. And, you are making me pay to send something back to be exchanged (because you won’t allow a return) - paying to have something exchanged - that’s classy.

I needed a rain coat on short notice for a recent trip. The forecast called for rain. I couldn’t find anything I liked in local stores. I was looking for a trench-style with a tie waist, waterproof and breathable, with some structure, and I needed it in 2-3 days. I contacted customer service to inquire about priority shipping. Tanya was super helpful. I purchased the Alexa Light coat in Navy/Indigo, and it arrived as promised, in 2 days. The small fits well ( I’m 5’6” and 125lbs). I love the coat, the color, and the fit. It packed well, kept me warm in cool temps, and looks great. It never did rain on my trip, so can’t speak to water proofing, but I will follow Mia Melon’s recommendations on using DWR as needed. Very happy with this purchase, and great customer service! 10/20/21 Update: It finally rained! I was out for a 20-min walk in light to moderate rain, and it kept me dry as a bone. Most of the rain rolled right off the coat. 2 thumbs up!

Funded Mia Melon on Kickstarter this past spring. They went completely silent after their update in June. It has been 3.5 months with no word from them. I have tried reaching out to their customer support email, messaging on kickstarter, etc with no response. I'm beginning to think this company is fake: just a scam. Do not waste your time or money on them.

Love the coats and just amazing customer service!

I ordered the "Whitney" in Oxblood Red fits perfectly and I love the colour. I also ordered the "Jericho" for my husband and unfortunately, it was too small despite following the measurements. We paid a hefty $27 to ship it back and exchanged it for a larger size. I'm grateful to customer service for shipping out the exchange quickly knowing we had a tight time line for an upcoming camping trip.

I had been looking a very long time for a raincoat that would keep me dry, was stylish, but didn't feel like I was wearing plastic. I can't stand fabrics that don't breath. After trying several coats from different companies and sending them back, I discovered Mia Melon while browsing online. Their coats were were so cute and the colors were gorgeous, so I ordered one. When it arrived, I was so happy with the look and feel of the coat, but dissapointed that the fit was not right for me. Right away I contacted customer service for advice on replacing it with a better fit. Other than the fit the coat was perfect and did not feel like I was wearing plastic. Tanya was very helpful and suggested a couple of different styles that might fit better. I went with one of her suggestions and the replacement coat fits beautifully! While it did take a long time to receive the new coat, Tanya was always responsive to my inquiries and very helpful. I understand that a lot of businesses were behind in shipping due to Covid. Tanya was always friendly and thanked me for my patience. The coat is such good quality and was worth the wait. Now I just need to rain so I get a chance to wear it.

Company creates far more lines than they can support. Backed a Kickstarter with a promise of a March delivery date. They were terrible at communication and several of us assumed this was a grift / scam / whatever. They've been promising tracking numbers for months now and I've officially given up hope. You should only purchase items they have in-stock and on-hand, otherwise you will suffer through the lack of communication and outright deception around fulfillment realities.
