Despite these adjustments, the unit still requires frequent manual maintenance and cleaning far beyond what is presented in the promotional materials. Additionally, the product’s rotation mechanism actually worsens odor control — it stirs the contents in a way that amplifies the smell of feces and urine rather than containing it. While I understand no automatic litter box is perfect, the reality of this product’s performance is nowhere near the claims made in Meowant’s marketing materials. Following Meowant’s own return policy, I submitted a return request well within 30 days of purchase. After weeks of unproductive email exchanges, I was offered a mere $40 refund to “keep the item,” instead of being allowed to return it for a full refund. When I attempted to proceed with the return, I discovered it would cost a minimum of $216 to ship back — nearly the cost of the product itself. According to Meowant’s policy, they claim the buyer must cover return shipping unless the product is “not functioning as designed.” Given that this unit clearly fails to operate as described, their attempt to shift responsibility and costs onto the customer is unacceptable and potentially in violation of consumer protection laws. To make matters worse, the company’s policy allows Meowant’s own internal “quality control” to determine whether a refund will be approved — meaning the entire process is self-serving and non-transparent. After reviewing similar complaints from other customers describing identical issues — both with the product’s functionality and Meowant’s handling of returns — I am now considering legal action. Others who feel they have been similarly misled or financially harmed may wish to explore collective legal remedies such as a class action. My cats adjusted to this quickly. It’s easy to set up and maintain. I just bought my second one. My daughter bought one from the big delivery place A. Cats choose this over that every time. They refuse to use that one. Thank you Meowant for this great product. I have been recommending it to my friends for sure.

This litter box is so easy to set up and to connect to my phone. I have two of them and they both work great. Both my kitties used it as soon as I got it set up. So no problems with the litter box at all.
