Placed 2 orders minutes apart. Called the next day to have them dipped together and McGee refused. Didn’t even attempt to bundle them together to save me shipping.

Received a damaged mirror. Little to no communication about replacement which I still haven’t received. Replacement was only ordered after I followed up for a second time. How is this a way to treat your customer who has paid over 1k for a mirror in June?

All my experiences have been great so far! I do have one order placed months ago that hasn’t shipped yet but working in the industry I understand that have been challenges with fulfillment. I wish the website was more clear about that and I’m sure you guys will work hard to improve it!

Worse experience item never came as same & customer service was very rude

I purchased the console side table. It is made in India for one, but the holes to screw the legs to the table don’t line up so now I have one leg that won’t work on the table or attempt to shave or drill a new hole. Shame on you for not having a product quality department before shipping things out. To pay this kind of money for furniture to put together to only be frustrated that it wasn’t produced correctly and then inconvenience customers to have to go through the time & hassle of a return. The instructions say it will only take :30 minutes to put together and after an hour trying to realize the holes don’t align I walked away. Very frustrating for the costs and time your customers go through.

I have purchased a bed, lamps, nightstands and linens and they have exceeded my expectations. While some items took some time to receive, the expected ship dates were stated on the website. My personal experience has been fantastic. Perhaps they have worked out some of the problems they were having early on.

I must echo many of the negative reviews below -with the exception of quality.; I have been fairly pleased with the quality of both furniture and accessories. My purchases date back to 2020 to present. With that said, my complaints have been r/t 1) prices are not competitive and when they have a sale, you’re not saving because they over charge on S&H or on some items add a exuberant special handing fee. If you know the supplier, you can find the same product elsewhere for less 2) if a item is on sale and is on backlog or there are insufficient numbers, you can’t purchase the item and thus lose out on the sale -when it’s finally available, the sale is off. 3) you are charged the full amount but yet you may wait months for the item to be shipped. 4) customer service is friendly but not helpful and sometimes you just want to talk to a person, not email. I don’t ‘feel’ they really care about their customers. My last purchase is a desktop clock that I’m still waiting for. (Trust me, I looked elsewhere before ordering from McGee and co ). It should have shipped within 5-7 business days. It has been 5 business days, and so far no tracking # 8 total days now). Seven days after the order I get an email that my order is “received.” It is customary with reputable companies to get this email within 24 hours and shortly after a tracking #, unless the item is not available. I’m sure the clock will eventually arrive, but I was expecting the clock by at least the 7th or 8th business day. In conclusion, this will be my last purchase from them. Why else do you think their website doesn’t have a place of reviews?

Please do not buy from this company, I do NOT recommend. McGee & Co has the worst quality and lack of customer service. I received an ottoman 6 months after ordering it, and what I received Is old, bumpy and faded. I bought linen and received denim! I really hope to help you decide not to buy from this company. You will be very disappointed. And the prices are similar to Restoration Hardware.
