So far, I haven't had to use LifeStation due to an emergency. I HAVE, however, pushed the button by mistake several times. The response has been IMMEDIATE.....AND I am addressed by my first name. I am very pleases.

I have not had an emergency as yet but I've tested it a few times and got a quick response.

My family had a pleasant experience with Lifestation personnel and equipement. My mother was 92 when we convinced her she needed to be monitored when she was left alone for any period of time. She finally saw the fruit of our efforts when she accidently activated her fall neck pendant at 2am in the morning and the first responders let themselves into the house to check up on her. It gave her a scare at first but she had peace of mind knowing someone will arrive to look after her. She passed away this January. Knowing we had a reliable back up system made caring for my mother a lot more easier.

My only complaint is that the caller ID listed the phone number as "Toll Free", which made me think it was a telemarketer. ID needs to say LifeStation. Could have created a problem.

You have contacted my daughter - rather than ME! Not good. You advised you had detected a battery that was needed for 1 of my devices. I did respond but was told all checked out OK?? A few weeks later I got another message - same thing. I followed instructions to check - which were vague & indeterminate. However, I did find one on my own, the necklace was needing replacement battery and you would send me a new one - so far I have received nothing. PLEASE SEND REPLACEMENT. The person was unable to give clear instructions.

My mother has dementia and the time for the beeping until a human responds is way too long. She gets confused. So far, all she has had to do is test it, and she does this while I am there, but the longer the time goes on the more she gets an anxiety attack and says that the company probably forgot her or does not want to help her. Then when the person does respond from LifeStation, they are not very personable or sympathetic. They ARE efficient and helpful, but, again, the length of time is to respond does not work for her. I wonder if there is a solution, or I need to go with another company which may talk to her quicker. Thank your for reading, and I'm sure you are a good company who will ask the right questions and get EMT's there promptly after answering.

Never had to use the service. However, when we tried to cancel the service, we couldn't until the unit was returned. So the representative recommended I return it ASAP to avoid further monthly charges. Well, I was charged an extra month. The representative was abrupt and claimed it was standard practice until I questioned further and insisted that I get my money back for the extra month they charged. How awful for a company to try to make extra money especially considering seniors are the ones in need of this service. Terribly disappointed.
