My Experience - Beware & Resolved
My Experience - BEWARE of Giving LifeStation Sales People Your Credit Card (CC) Info if You Are Not Ready to Purchase because they May Send You Equipment & Bill You Without Your Permission, and Issue of Refunding CC was RESOLVED by Supervisor named Bill! Phone Customer Service Overall was Good to Excellent - I gave Billing Lady lowest rating by phone, she likely deserved at least a 3 or 3.5 out of 5. Explanation below. Explanation (The Story): I called LifeStation (Medical Alert Devices) prior to Jan 6, 2026, because Aetna for Medicare referred me. I was calling on behalf of my Dad who is a Senior. The sales guy gave me info based on the type of system I felt was needed. He gave me a discounted quote. I said I would get back with him. He said in order to keep this price, I would need to provide credit card (CC) info & I'd have 2 weeks to decide, so I gave the info. On Jan 6, 2026, in less than 1 week, I got a text Alert from my CC Co. saying my card had been charged...I Never Authorized this. I called Customer Service o/a the next morning & explained the situation. The lady confirmed everything, apologized, said the equipment had already gone out & said she would send a return label. My Dad received the package & a few days later, the return label. About 3 to 5 days later, I mailed it at USPS. USPS Tracking confirmed that LifeStation received the package on 07/21/2026. The morning of August 4, I talked to a lady from Billing - the talk did Not go well. The account that was set up, Never listed my name! So I got No Info...She apologized for the situation & I said I understood it was due to Security Reasons. I was unhappy & we did argue...I didn't want to hear more explanations or more apologies - these Did Not solve the problem. I did verbally talk over her & I'm sorry for that, I was frustrated by then. I said look, you don't have to give me any info, just send a letter to my Dad saying you're refunding the money & She Wouldn't Do It! I then said, let's end this call & just put me through to the phone feedback, which she eventually did. I gave her the lowest ratings - she did her best & probably deserved at least an average rating. The Good News: Issue was Resolved by Bill, a Supervisor & my card was refunded - it may take up to 5-10 business days to see the card credited. A Big Thank You to LifeStation because after I finished the phone evaluation, they gave me the option to talk to a supervisor. Update: On August 5, 2026, my Credit Card was Refunded the Full Amount that was errantly charged on June 6, 2026.
