I ordered this device for my husband on the advice of his doctor, but my huysband refused to wear it. He said he didn't need it. While he did fall occasionally he was always able to get up. I never set the device up or used it at all. It never came out of the box, yet I paid for it as though it was monitored for more than a year before my husband passed away from something totally unrelated to a fall. I have no idea how well the Life Station device worked because I paid for it to sit in the box until I returned it after my husband's passing.

The system is for my 96 yr old mother who is alone many hours during the day when I am at work. Have had several accidental button presses and a few real emergency situations. Life station alert is beyond excellent. They are quick to respond, they keep her on the line while going thru the contacts list, and assure her help is on the way. The times she hits the button in error they always say "no problem ", call anytime. I checked Life Alert 1st. They were rude, pushy, and high pressure selling. When I told them I was going to check other cos., the rep said I didn't care about my mother and hung up on me. Life Station Alert rep was courteous, answered all my questions and gave me an accurate price quote. I am completely satisfied.

My mom fell several times while wearing the fall alert necklace. The necklace never went off on its own. Customer service was less than helpful when I called to find out why the necklace was not working properly. Very disappointed.

My father had a wristband which somehow came off his wrist and got lost. I had to pay to order another one. He insists he didn't take it off, and I know for a fact that ne never took it off so I do believe him when he says it "somehow came off." Follow-up: LifeStation contacted me regarding this issue and offered a resolution. I'm very satisfied with their prompt response! Thank you LifeStation.

My Father-in-Law was who we purchased this for. It was a relief for my husband and I for him to have this device. Unfortunately my FIL ended up in the hospital, then rehab where he ultimatley passed away, but we were grateful to have him protected while alive.
